  1. Congrats to Deuces and X RAY for winning the August screenshot competition. Deuces wins in the "heavily photoshopped" category with his awesome A-7, and X RAY gets the win in the "not so heavily photoshopped" bracket with a very atmospheric F-4 scene. Great work guys!
  2. Bombcat is many weeks away...

  7. Erikgen is the best. I'm just a henchman.
  8. Monty CZ had an A-5B that is quite nice. It should be here somewhere. It can stand in for an RA-5C because all it lacks is the camera canoe.
  9. Its well known fact that for every aircraft developed in the West, the Russians developed a totally superior (in every way) counter.

Instead of arguing, let's just all go look at some porn and be thankful that someone invented the Internet.
  11. Some Voodoos are closer to release than others. Two weeks--count on it.
  12. If you mean the original one, you can probably get it running with DOSbox: http://www.dosbox.com/
  13. No question: WOV + Green Helll 2 + Widesky.
  14. Ah I see. What they are calling an "intercept" is really just positioning the MiG in a certain place they think would be effective based on a peacetime mission profile. That's a crafty bit of semantics.
  15. I have to believe Jug on this...given his experience. Plus it just doesn't jive when you compare the SR-71s capabilities to the MiG-25.
  16. That pic from behind is particularly helpful.
  17. Funny you should mention that one...I had it and beat it several times...it could have been worse.
  18. I rarely drive it within the city limits...mainly out East.
  19. 1974 Corvette. Currently has the original 350 but a new 383 is being built. Recently installed new 3.70:1 gears, headers and stainless exhaust. Daily driver is an '06 F-150. Bike is a '99 Honda Valkyrie.
  20. chaff! CHAFF!!!!!!
  21. I think its an engineering feat that never had a realistic application since it couldn't intercept the SR-71 and the Valkyrie never materialized. Still a great accomplishment to field an aircraft in large numbers that could fly that high and that fast using the technology the Soviets had available to them at the time. If it was a hoax, western intelligence is at least partly to blame for overestimating it.
  22. What we need is more of this.
