  1. China's state news agency published a despatch from the country's three latest astronauts describing their first night in space before they had even left Earth. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/...from-space.html
  2. You have the RAN unit set up as [AirUnit076] in one file but in the other you have it set up as UnitID=151. They need to correspond. The 4th TFS must be unit 151 in the campaign data INI, that is why you are getting them. I would recommend that you add your new unit as the very last Allied unit in the campaign data, otherwise it is going to throw off all of the other units. Post your two campaign files here if you don't mind, its actually a lot easier to show how it works than to explain it.
  3. Yeah, those blipping guys had to have their blipping blip switch.
  4. Maybe Dave can take a flight with the latest data INI and let us know about the first problem (stay at home dad can fly all damn day). As far as the nacelles, those are just subcomponents. Each one has two engines attached to it, so (after the typo was fixed) all engines should be working.
  5. I haven't tried the new engine on/off function but as far as I know it does work. Make sure you have a key mapped to it. By default it should be CTL-I.
  6. Use the latest weapon editor for WOI to open the weapondata.ini and save out a new weapondata.dat. NF1/2 may not work properly with the latest patch even after you do that though. NF3 will bring full compatibility with the latest patch. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=32137
  7. OK, some updated files. - Updated stall data, not tested - 76's engine data (one small tweak to that) B_36D.zip
  8. Its usefulness will depend on whether he releases it to everyone or not, but it'll be great coming from him.
  9. Not to down anyone's efforts--we all like different things--but an actual cockpit for this one would be great, as you can't capture the true look otherwise: Of course, I don't expect anyone to volunteer to make a pit this complex for a plane that has so many restrictions on it. Oh well.
  10. James Stewart has enough star power that it would normally be released IMO--I think there is some problem with the rights, because it has been hard to find even since the VHS days.
  11. I yearn for it on Blu-ray.
  12. I think I'll order a copy for the library, I've actually had that book on my wish list for a while.
  13. Level-headed is one thing I never thought the old place would be called. I know exactly what you are saying though, as far as your post goes.
  14. I guess I should volunteer to do the C-5 flight model also, for obvious reasons... Just shoot the models to me when they are ready and I'll jump on them.
  15. Does your book have any info on the actual location of the fuel tanks? Also, the plane is equipped with chaff and flares, 60 of each. I would think that for a plane of this era, chaff would be the only countermeasure, but it would carry a lot more than 60. Anything on that in the book?
  16. If you need volunteers, I would love to help with flight models for the Voodoos (already got one in development for erikgen's version) and F-102 (I can update and adapt my F-106 data). I can also adapt the WOI Vautour flight model to yours, to save you some time.
  17. Just my .02 but I don't think there will ever be a weapons pack that will be truly plug and play for everyone. In a highly moddable game there is just no way. Best plan is to take one of these packs and build your own custom pack from it, then always keep your personal pack and modded loadouts backed up. ;)
  18. Always compare Baugher with other sources--he is not 100% accurate. For example the cruise speeds he lists for most aircraft are way too high. B-36 info looks pretty good though.
  19. B-36 is A-Team release--hence the reason for this thread: we are trying to fix it. F-101 is still WIP but coming along really nice. Can you go ahead and correct the weapons stations and loadouts and post them here?
  20. Absolutely! In order to turn this into a featherweight mod B-36 we have to remove all but the tail guns... PS - I forgot to mention in the first post, the cockpit view angles were messed up so that by default you were looking out out of the left window. I fixed that as well.
  21. I think what I will do is just write a tutorial for adding/removing/changing squadrons in the campaigns. Its not a completely straightforwards process. I'd love to do more pack like this, but it is completely dependent on getting good maps.
