Stary (and deadly) night. -
Guys, What do you think about MiG-23 records? When they are compared to Fishbeds' ones, they aren't too shiny. The planes had even been discarded almost everywhere whereas Fishbeds are still around, albeit modernized ones. And operationnal records seem to be quite mediocre in Iran-Irak war or in South Africa, for instance. What do you think? Is it a failed plane? Did Soviet Union missed the third generation step?

I guess it depends on you kiddy patience. Thirdwire could be a good option, with mods. But I guess the king of WW2 sims is still IL2 1946.

Sweet! I was just a few days early. :) -
Guys, If some of you are wargamers or some of you fancy strategy and war games, I have something for you. You have to try Ageod's Civil War 2 or To end all wars, the latest release focused on WW1. Easy to play, complex to master, they are great but not overwhelming. Also, they respect history verymuch and units & leaders are very faitfull to what they were. Also, they are very pretty games. http://www.ageod.com/?LanguageID=3

Well, some games like Alone in the Dark started the survival horror thing. Doom was more a landmark of sort for FPS genre. By the way, a more full list, but a very 1990's one since I hadn't played much F.P.S. since: - Jedi Knight ( a gem) - Jedi Knight II (a second gem) - Skynet (I loved the easter eggs -tech noir!!!- and I am quite fond of the first two terminator movies.) - Doom, I remember being scared as hell in some corridors... - Played a little bit of Duke Nukem 3D and met, well, hookers. - Goldeneye on N64 had an awesome multiplayer mode.

I live on Provence coasts but come from French flanders. Indeed, Northern people are so much warmer. Still, people in the South are so much nicer (except in Nice and Cannes) than in Paris...

Green Hell 3.5
Emp_Palpatine replied to Stary's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
Indeed they are. A few glitches, though, with random buildings in the countryside instead of huts and trees overlapping buildings but nothing gamebreaking. A question : what are the files I am supposed to put into the vietnam 75 and the South Vietnam terrains? What are the files I am supposed to discard? Thanks!
