I have a 17.3" ASUS Notebook from 2013 (bought in "peaceful" Ukraine)... Originally costed 6000 UAH (then) about 750$. It has two 1 TB HDDs (48$ each), and I have just bought a 120GB SSD (also about 45$) for system AND SF2+Addons. I want to try out the loading time from SSD - I do such modding I am hindered by loading time... hehe) I also replaced the LCD screen from 1600x900 to Full HD 1920x1080. Considering all these upgrades (and that I own a single HDD NAS with another 1TB HDD) I can say space is enough I did not pay a fortune and also my 3yo. notebook is still keeping a value of 1000$ (=two monthwages for me). In this category there are only ROG gaming notebooks avilable for 2000-4000$ -
Yea something like "again these f***ing rails" I could film our HEV (local suburb train) it has a headbanger section as well. If you photo rails from this viewpoint, they can look really ugly. Budapest has bought new trams for billions, and they needed the rails rebuilt for several billions and still they suck. Technology development seems to be going backwards way too often.

RED SIDE STANDARD WEAPONS PACK - FULL Beta 0.99 =============================================== While this pack is still considered Beta, it is a full version. Only 3D graphics and texture improvements are in progress. Introduction: --------------- Red Side Standard Weapons Pack (RSSW) is a standardized, simplified weapons pack for eastern bloc aircraft ordnance. The pack includes weaponry from a time frame from 1950 to 2000. The main effort was to provide both users and modders with a stable and well organized collection of on-board weapons. With standardized references, station-specific entries and names there is no need for modders to include weapon files for the aircraft they have made and it is also more easy to construct proper stations and loadout arrangements. Using multiple reference materials (both english an russian) we tried to fine tune the effectiveness of all the weaponry for satisfactory red-side player game experience while keeping as much realism as possible. This also provides more challenge playing on the blue side. We did not yet apply general changes to blue side weaponry (like the Rear60 IRM fix) some weapons may appear more capable than their blue side counterparts. Even though RSSW was designed to improve red side player experience and flyable aircraft, we will of course apply these changes to blue side to keep a balance challenge level. Effectiveness for guided weapons have been tuned to provide realistic hit rate within the proper launch requirements. Because of game limitations, this means some technical parameters and values may be different from real world data. We kept as much stock reference as we could to provide compatibility with original game standard (Naming, Types, Loadout ID, etc) Contents: ----------- - Simplified (reduced) version of Lindr2's SovietBombPack - The latest 3D models of all Air-to-Air missiles with thoroughly revised characteristics (FM, Guidance, etc) - Latest and updated 3D models of Air-to-Ground missiles with revised characteristics (FM, Guidance, etc) - Weapon (and folder) names use common standard for convenience, clarity and simplified looks - New racks for more realistic loadouts Important changes: ------------------ - IRMs with Rear60 aspect has been reworked with higher Turn G and/or higher Track Rate, to compensate the faulty tracking game logic related to Rear60 seekers. - R-3/R-13 series missiles has been classified to WP (Warsaw Pact) Attachment type. Trams are ukrainian, perhaps russian. Old Czech Skoda/Tatra trams from the 60's. Remind me of my fine days with my ex-redhead in Harkov.... yea, one day i got shocked when I got on Tram No 6. There, at a junction the tram driver, a female troll (woman well over 130kilos and 60+ cm biceps) emerged from her cave (cockpit) with a crowbar at least two inch thick... she torn open the door and got off to switch the rails manually... murmured something like "opyat' takiye relsy blyat' " - I started to look for my ticket hysterically...

The weapons in RSS are sorted using their NATO codenames (AA-1, AS-7 etc) their reference is therefore the same. In-game, however they are using their native designation at the first place but they display NATO codename as well (R-3S Atoll, Kh-28 AS-9 Kyle etc) AA-10A is R-27R AA-10D is R-27ET etc etc These designations should be used in the Loadout.ini reference, for example -

Make a copy of an EXE that is NOT the NA exe, raname it to NA exe and run that. For the IcelandNA map you need to download Gerwin's back modded IcelandNA. I have Win8.1 but I still use that (faster) -

Soviets used special paint on dielectric covers, bone white, bright green and rarely dark grey. White were used by Navy and PVO, green mostly used by VVS. Grey is rare, in some cases were used on bombers/transports, ASW helos and experimental craft (Yak-141). In this case, I suspect green Su-27 is from VVS (Su-27S) and White is PVO (Su-27P). S differs from P, that it had air-ground weaponry and sights while interceptors had no such capabilities.

Ship Name Decals

You need to make the name decals (by whatever means you know, or software you have) first... then bind them to the number the ship class uses. For example the CVN classes... in Ship_Names.ini the individual ship names are being stored. There they have the numbers attached, so if the name calls a ship the given number will be assigned, and all the decals attached to that number. NImitz-class carrier + number 68 = will be displayed as USS Nimitz. You need to create a file name like NimitzName68.tga so when decals.ini calls for decal NimitzName, it will use the 068 file. Now it is your task to put the correct name for the correct file number. Example KIEV_82_NAMES.INI [ship001] Name=Kiev Nation=Soviet Number=075 StartDate=12/28/1975 EndDate=6/30/1993 SovietGrey/decals.ini (skin folder) [Decal003] MeshName=HULL DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=SovietNavy/SovietShip/Kiev_name Position=98.0,8.0 Scale=20 DecalMaxLOD=3 This will call for Kiev board No. 075 Kiev_name075.tga Finally, you have to create the decals.ini entry (Like above), but if you want an aft name placement, you need to use the DecalFacing=REAR (I guess). Proper sizing and positioning will be your final task - trial by error EDIT: Be careful, as far as I know, a single mesh object can handle 4 pairs of decals max. -

Ummm ... I had some real suffering with this, but I have learned from it.. I think it's quite good, but I cannot really see it in full potential, since my machine was pushed to it's limits with this. So it's no surprise that the recording did kill all framerate(((( Well at least say something ) PS. Artillery stuff is not working on it yet. -

Yes, I was just recently thinking about Spain... Many things could have happened differently. And Franco might have joined the Axis as well - as a what-if. What-if is such thing historians used to refuse to talk... yet, of course it is most interesting part of history. Not much I know about the Spanish Civil war, but it was a lot more important than it seems. It is still affecting the politics and public opinion... so it's a sensitive topic. I'll be an ear here, happy to read anything. -
