  1. Hey there, I guess, that is what you are looking for. http://combatace.com/files/file/15221-wings-over-korea-1-of-3/ http://combatace.com/files/file/15220-wings-over-korea-2-of-3/ http://combatace.com/files/file/15587-wings-over-korea-3-of-3/
  2. Some Scooters for Europe. Inspired by some drawings showing the Scooter in the colors of some possible customers. The Netherlands were one of them, but unfortunately none were sold. A-4E(NL), based on early A-4E, but with 4xSidewinder-capability and brakechute, 20 delivered in 1962. Denmark wasn't one of them, but I like their green camouflage. ;) A-4F(DK), based on early A-4F, avionics hump wasn't installed, has 4x Sidewinder-capability, brakechute, 30mm ADEN-cannons and the tailhook was removed. Later updated to use AGM-65A/B Mavericks. 40 delivered in 1968. Definitely no easy-mode plane in NATO-Fighters, but I like the challenge. :)
  3. you don't need the lod. in lod-viewer in the menus...extras-->settings youtell lod-viewer where your sf2 installation-folder is. if you did this, you can load any stock aircraft.ini for the model to show.
  4. use LOD-Viewer :) in case you want to use LOD-viewer for a cockpit: just make a copy from a random planes data.ini and change the lod-callout to the pit you need. an example (the red part should be renamed to your pits name (found in the planes cockpit.ini), the orange-part should match the folder name you create for that "cockpit-plane"): [AircraftData] AircraftFullName=_A-10A_cockpit AircraftShortName=A-4 AircraftDataFile=A-4G_data.ini LoadoutFile=A-4G_loadout.ini CockpitDataFile=TA-4J_cockpit.ini LoadoutImage=A-4G_loadout.tga UserList=A-4G_UserList.ini HangarScreen=A-4G_hangar.jpg LoadingScreen=A-4G_Loading.bmp AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll AvionicsDataFilename=A-4G_avionics.ini [LOD001] Filename=A-10A_78_pit.lod Distance=100 [shadow] CastShadow=TRUE ShadowCastDist=10000 MaxVisibleDistance=800 [DamageTexture] DamagedPostFix=_Holes.DDS
  5. Some slight changes in the formation.ini does the job. Trial and error to get the distances right - unfortunately the Malaysian Air Force lost 5 planes that way recently.
  6. I think its not a rocketpod, but a dispenser for submunition (it fires backwards)...> SUU-7 < looks like the one in the picture.
  7. I love these old birds in their camo.
  8. Google-Translation for the curious (like me) :P "WHY DO YOU FOLD FILES THAT MISS YOU FILE? YOU ARE FOOL? OR DO YOU MAKE IT GRACIOUS? YOU DO NOT GET ANYONE BECAUSE NOBODY WILL USE IT"
  9. Hey Volker, great job on the weapons! on thing with your data.inis though: the callout for the damaged node on the model for the VertTail is wrong. [VertTail] ParentComponentName=Fuselage ModelNodeName=Tail DestroyedNodeName=VertTail_Damaged ---> has to be DestroyedNodeName=D_Tail ShowFromCockpit=TRUE DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE DamageRating=DESTROYED MassFraction=0.042 HasAeroCoefficients=TRUE Not to hijack your thread, but since you posted updated data.inis for the A-1 I think it still fits somehow. I did a quick pack to incorporate all ini-updates I found for TWs A-1H/J (yours, Wrenchs, luk1978s) and included 300gal tanks. Feel free to use and change this to your needs. - updated attachment-positions for Ravenclaws weapons on outer pylons - corrected VertTail Damage-Texture callout - additional lights from Wrenchs INI-update from 2013 - added skids to enable belly landings from luk1978s original data.inis - formation lights on fuselage and wingtips by me - 2 different 300gal droptanks made by cocas (conversion) + me (model) - changed max. flap-deflection from 50.0 to 40.0 to avoid contact with the droptanks - changed outer wing pylon grouping to get more realistic loadouts (Wingtip 1 2 3 4 3 4 InnerPylon CenterPylon InnerPylon 4 3 4 3 2 1 Wingtip) - basic loadout.inis with changed pylon-setup to include tanks - wingfold activated (Strg+1) - works only without weapons as they unfortunately don't follow the wings TW_A-1H+J_UpdatedINIs_NF2017.7z
  10. Thanks Volker for those new weapons! Also some support for Makoto to get some more skins done. This time VA-145 Swordsmen from 1967.
  11. I had a similar problem a while ago with drop tanks. In the end it worked for me by renaming the .ini, data.ini and the lod-file (has to be changed in ini and data.ini accordingly). No need to change the texture-file's name.
  12. I'm pretty sure, buying all his arcade-stuff since sf2 doesn't have any impact on a possible SF3 or Exp.3. It just leads to more stuff like that. ;)
  13. You're welcome. Have fun!
  14. use these. error were some slashes instead of backslashes. [Decal013] MeshName=VertTail DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=A-4L\VC13\D\13bn Position=-3.20,0.80 Scale=1.5 DecalMaxLOD=3 [Decal014] MeshName=VertTail DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=A-4L\VC13\D\13bn Position=-3.20,0.80 Scale=1.5 DecalMaxLOD=3 [Decal015] MeshName=Fuselage DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=A-4L\VC13\D\13an Position=-5.01,0.09 Scale=0.74 DecalMaxLOD=3 [Decal016] MeshName=Fuselage DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=A-4L\VC13\D\13an Position=-5.01,0.09 Scale=0.74 DecalMaxLOD=3
  15. well, from what i can tell, you messed up the math ;) for example [Decal004] MeshName=Airbrake_Left DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=NationName Position=-1.9,-0.05 Scale=1.3 DecalMaxLOD=3 -1.9 - 1.75 = -3,65 (yours is -0.15) also you missed a "-" (minus) on the second number for decal 7 and 8.
  16. Skyraiders from VA-165 and VA-176. Great Job Makoto, please continue! And another Skyhawk-Skin done. This time VA-155 A-4F on USS Ranger 1968 in 2 flavours and the redone camouflage from 1966. (all scooter deployments for all squadrons in 4k - 44 skins done now).
  17. [Decal001] MeshName=Nose DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=Insignia Position=4.707,-0.113 Scale=1.5 DecalMaxLOD=4 Decal001 for example has decalfacing=right/left (red marked), so you need to reduce the orange number to move the decal back --> 4.707-1.75=2.957 So replace the orange number with the green one. [Decal007] MeshName=Left_Wing DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=TOP FilenameFormat=Insignia Position=-2.75,0.15 Scale=1.8 DecalMaxLOD=4 Same as above just for decalfacing=TOP and BOTTOM (light blue marked). Adjust the blue number this time. 0.15-1.75=-1.6 So replace the blue number with the gray one. Do this for all decals. 1.75 is a guess here, maybe you need to adjust this number. Trial and error.
  18. The nose-insignia should be around position 3.06,-0.15 (+/-). Yours is at 4.707,-0.113, so you should move those back by around 1.75 For all decals with Decalfacing=TOP or BOTTOM change the value AFTER the comma. All LEFT / RIGHT change the value BEFORE of the comma.
  19. The planes look quite accurate. I just don't get why you would invest work into details for an arcade-type of game. I guess the majority of players don't care. Looks like HAWX or something like that to me from the screenshots. So thanks, but no thanks for me.

Scooters! - Redux - a rework of all my Single-Skin-Releases for Thirdwire A-4 Skyhawks ==================================================================================== *** SF2V required. Tested in full 5-merged installation *** For this pack I redid all my previous single-skin releases, brought them on the same level with the Scooters Vol.1 pack and rearranged them. I also corrected several errors from the older versions. Former VA-153-Skin with optional Coral Sea Marking is split into 2 separate skins for Coral Sea and Constellation now. Some skins are done for different plane-variants to reflect upgrades. So this Pack includes: - VA-93 Blue Blazers, USS Hancock, 1/1967 to 7/1967 for A-4E_65 - VA-153 Blue Tail Flies, USS Constellation, 5/1966 to 12/1966 for A-4C_65 - VA-153 Blue Tail Flies, USS Coral Sea, 12/1964 to 11/1965 for A-4C and A-4C_65 - VA-163 Saints, USS Oriskany, 6/1967 to 1/1968 for A-4E_65 - VA-164 Ghost Riders, USS Oriskany, 6/1967 to 1/1968 for A-4E-65 - VA-164 Ghost Riders, USS Hancock, 1/1972 to 10/1972 for A-4F and A-4F_LST - VA-172 Blue Bolts, USS F.D. Roosevelt, 6/1966 to 2/1967 for A-4C-65 - VA-192 Golden Dragons, USS Ticonderoga, 10/1966 to 5/1967 for A-4E_65 and A-4E_67 Updates include: - Added Weathering, that most early skins missed. - Insignia and several squadronspecific markings are painted on. - Many decals are redone and optimised (more blur for less flickering) - Corrected several errors in the baseskin, aswell as for the markings. - Added modexnumbers to the flap insides (possible with mue's great LOD-Viewer - Thanks mate!) - Updated cockpit with working Landing Gear- and Arresting Hook Lever - Included Hangarscreens for each skin in 1920x1080 as default and 1024x768 optional. Notes and Issues: ================= As there's no possibility of squadrons with mixed plane-variants, some skins are available for 2 plane-variants. At some point A-4C and A-4E got ECM-equipment and I'm pretty sure, those were used besides planes without ECM in squadrons. The other case are A-4E, that got the avionics hump at some point and were used besides ones without hump. I hope you have fun with it! Sources ======= - Scooter!
