  1. Some more progress on the Spads. :)
  2. Here are 3 links for a start...the second one is from a Navy Corsair, the 3rd one from a greek, but I'm sure stencils are similar. http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/weichao_chen2/a-7d_70-0970/ http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/bill_spidle2/a-7a_153135/ http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-G6moybOLTpg/VK2l2zKFAfI/AAAAAAAAAF0/VYDn-zLsidg/s1600/141016-18%2B(45).jpg In general I suggest looking for walkarounds. Sometimes other airforces or countries have a similar type....US Navy, Greece or Portugal for example. Try to use what you have, you will probably never find a reference for all possible stencils. Sometimes it's just difficult to find useful infos about them (A-1 Skyraiders atm for me). And sometimes you stumble upon useful pictures while looking for other stuff. I guess it takes some time to find sources and thinking a bit out of the box helps too.
  3. VA-192 "Worlds Famous Golden Dragons" in Vietnam 1965. Thanks to luk1978 and MAKOTO I could bring the pretty beaten up Scooter back home. I also did a small repaint for the Walleye I bomb until Volker comes up with a new one. Template is included. Have fun! WalleyeIRepaint.7z
  4. Just out of curiosity, what do you think is a "common achievable goal"?
  5. Some Spad-Action from VA-196 "Main Battery"
  6. Well, the topic came up several times in the past with no substancial changes since then. I guess that's one reason.
  7. The artist has left the building...a long time ago.

  9. As I said, real weights for me. There are other ways to limit the loadout of something on a pylon. :)
  10. A-7B_71 Skinpack

    Thanks Makoto!
  11. This is from the skyhawk cockpit: [sAMLight] Type=THREAT_LAUNCH_WARNING_LIGHT NodeName=warning_light_sam MovementType=LIGHT In case I understood your "sam-lite" wrong, just ignore this. :)
  12. I once started one. Still missing weathering and stuff. Maybe useful for you as timesaver. FlorianP-3CTemplate.7z
  13. RNZAF A-4K Skyhawk tactics

Very interesting! Thanks for sharing. :)
  14. I don't get you. What's the problem to ask a modder that paints something on the skin, to create a skin without those painted on bits for you? Skins ususally don't appear out of nowhere...There should be a template of any kind. And if not, you always can make one...
  15. > F-100C < > F-100D < > A-7E < maybe these can be reworked for A-7D-usage? I once started to do a new TW A-7 template, but at the moment it's basically just the tailplane.
  16. Still trying to do highly detailed skins for all Vietnam War Scooter-Units with all their deployments - around 30 skins done yet. This time VA-22 FIghting Redcocks from USS Bon Homme Richard in 1970 and VA-164 Ghost Riders from USS Hancock in 1969.
  17. You seem to reference the wrong AirUnitID...36/37 vs. 34/35.
  18. HAPPY NEW YEAR

    Happy new year!
  19. for the namechange you have to change the ini's name to the folder's name --> t-33a.ini to ct-133.ini for example and change the name in the ini itself (i read that you did this already). P.S. nevermind, I've seen, you found that already :)
  20. looks good I already blurred the decals a bit to get a smoother border, but if you wish you can play around with that to further improve the borders.
  21. "ROTATION=180.0" should do the trick.
  22. Here you go, - VVS Rossii - VMF Rossii - MA VMF Rossii each in 2 variations (with and without white border) and in 3 resolutions (256, 512, 1024). I redid the VVS-decals, to be in line with the navy-ones. - russian insignia in 3 variations (red star, red star with large blue part and red star with smaller blue part) and in 3 resolutions too. Have fun! RussianAFInsignia_Decals_v1.1.7z
