You just need to download the latest WinRAR archiver (not lower than wrar560 version) : https://www.win-rar.com/download.html?L=0 By the way, it's completely free. -

Where is the Sound ini?
Crawford replied to FalconC45's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I do, too. The SF1 system in this case is not too different from SF2. You were correctly told that you need to extract the SOUNDLIST.ini from the the FlightData cat. After extraction, it will appear in your Flight folder. If you don’t use the SFP1E Extract utility (it can be downloaded here in the SF1 Download section), then just drop this file into your Flight folder. SOUNDLIST.INI Also, in the DATA.ini of each aircraft there are basic sound settings. Something like that: [Sound] EngineSoundName=JetEngine DamagedEngineSound= FlapsSoundName=Flaps AirbrakesSoundName=Airbrakes GearsSound=Gear -

Sukhoi Su-57 "Felon" Fictional Desert Camo Skin
Crawford commented on WH357's file in Fictional/What If Skins
This Russian Su-57 is not a 5th gen airplane! The maximum that it reaches is 4 ++. Russian fighter does not meet the stated requirements of secrecy. Also, its combat avionics, radars and sensors of Russian design do not meet the standards of a 5th generation combat aircraft. And most importantly - these are engines, old, like mammoth shit, which are on the Su-27. An air expert, a former designer of the Sukhoi Design Bureau, Vadim Lukashevich, in his interview NSN, explained why the Su-57 can still not be considered 5th gen aircraft. “Fifth generation aircraft have three key indicators. This is a supersonic cruising speed, low visibility and the combination of all aircraft systems into a single complex. If we compare American aircraft with ours, then ours is not the fifth generation yet. It still does not meet the indicator of stealth, it needs to be brought up. There are no full-time engines that will allow you to match in speed. The Americans, if we talk about the F-22, it’s a full fifth generation aircraft, ” - he explained. -
Yes, unfortunately, this is true. I checked, and this F12 key does not work for me either. Obviously, this function does not exist in FE2, as well as in 1st Gens. Apparently, the developers forgot to make a random view tied to the F12 key Just try to use a VIEWLIST.INI file extracted directly from SF2. Maybe this will solve your problem.
-
Yes, apparently)) Try just throwing “my” Default into your Controls folder (do not forget to back up your Default - just in case).
-
Yes you are right. This file is taken from the Wings over Europe (I just changed its format from ANSI to Unicode for you). This 'Default' works perfectly fine in FE. The fact is that in my FE installation also uses pre- WW2 airplanes, some of them already retracted the landing gears and had wheel brakes.
-
In this case, check your 'Default' file in the 'Controls' folder. It should contain a line GOTO_VIEW_ACTION_CAM=F12 Default.ini
-
Hi! You probably need to edit your VIEWLIST.ini according to this one (or just put it in your 'Flight' folder): VIEWLIST.INI

Stay on the Max2009 32 bit platform and create models that will run in both 1st and 2nd Gens. You do not care, but the "retrograde", like me, will be happy. -

Waypoint indicator color change
Crawford replied to GKABS's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Yes it is possible. Change the corresponding lines in the HUDDATA.ini file (it is extracted from the FlightData.cat in your 'Flight' folder). HUDDATA.INI You can choose any color of indicators using this utility - Colourpicker.rar
