My Strike Fighters 2 has a version of Sept 2011, but all patches require to update my game to Mar 2012 first. And where can I get this Mar 2012 update, if it is not even on СombatAce ???

No problems! Of course, if you want to download 500 MB.

Hallo!
Unzip the archive, and then drop all files outside the folder Su-30SM into Su-30SM folder. Throw this folder to your planes (in Mods or Aircraft). The plane is non-flyable. You need to copy the "Cockpit" folder and the _COCKPIT.ini file from any other jet and place them in the Su-30 folder. Rename your cockpit.ini file to Su-30MKI_cockpit.ini.
Open the file and change the existing line "Position" to this:
[CockpitSeat001]
Position = 0.0000,6.05,1.50It's all. Enjoy))

Unfortunately this is not possible. From what I understand, it would be possible to hide the dorsal antenna if it were a separate part. But in our case, the antenna is one piece with the fuselage.

It is unnecessary to write "You are allowed to use this model and everything included with it for personal non-profit use for Strike fighters 1 and 2". Because this model, like the rest of the models saved in Unicode, AT ALL do not work in 1stGens.
-
Actually, what prevented you from removing that dorsal antenna? Have you lost your original 3D model?

Special thanks and respect to paulopanz for the fact that this model runs perfectly in my good old SFP1/WOE.
Of course, we need to bear a hand in this, but the result is worth the effort!

Archive 662 MB ??? I'm incredibly amazed ... And this is only the first part!
-
For me and other retrogrades, this model is all the more valuable because it can run in 1st Gens. Of course, for this we need a little "file completion" and a bit of dancing with a tambourine))

The Soviet Air Forces, not "Russian"!

Many thanks to UllyB for a great addition!

The inevitable has occurred!

It WORKS in WoE, as well as in all other Gen1 games, and even FE ))

Both choppers work just fine in all 1stGen games. Thank you Jarek!

To fix the gun fire effect (now it seems to be firing from ground level), just open the BTR-40_RU_DATA file and correct the MuzzlePosition, as here:
[MG]
SystemType = GUN
GunTypeName = 7.62MM_SGMB
MuzzlePosition = 0.00, 0.98, 2.13
MaxAmmo = 1250
TracerLoading = 6
BurstAmount = 12
EjectShells = TRUE- 2

As for the Soviet state emblem on board this vehicle - this is a clear exaggeration!
Such art was not practiced in the Soviet army ....

Yes, I know that. However, all this does not refute what I said in the commentary above.

It is possible to edit LODs so that they refer to textures of the jpeg format instead of bmp. But you don't have to edit the LODs to make jpgs work on 1stGen models in SF2. You just simply use jpg skins. The game does the rest.

200 megabytes archive ???
Isn't this a condensed version of the Library of Congress?
