Yes it does, which is why I hope the devs fix the issue and allow us to have custom paint and lighter fuel loads.

I went w/ Cyberpower instead of Ibuypower (the NewEgg source company) - they have a very good reputation - you can customize to your hearts content (better box, better PSU, more fans) - just better quality all the way around. Or so I am told and hopefully will find out.

Ok - after a bunch of hemming and hawing I went w/: Cyberpower custon build: - Phenom II X4 965(3.4GHz) - 4GB DDR3 1600 Memory - 500GB HD - ATI Radeon HD 5670 1 GB - Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit ...it's gonna be a long 10 days! So...what are the best Catalyst drivers to use w/ OFF?

Oh, I hear ya as I NEVER do a driver install until I can read feedback from a lot of folks. I was one of the ones that would install the latest and greatest way back when and learned my lession. A real shame about those who lost their cards to faulty drivers.

I am going from my present Nvidia set, 182.06 (?) to 196.21 as I hear they are the bees knees. Haven't done this in awhile, so... Anyone have a step by step guide? Anyone know of good Nvidia driver cleaner app? Do I have to worry about archiving OFF settings due to this change or will they be unaffected? Thanks.

Uncleal: Thanks for the info. but I've been flying OFF/HiTR for over a year now so I am up to speed on installs/settings. BirdDog - that CPU is indeed the max my mobo can handle and the price is $60.00 - so not too shabby. However, I may go the way of a new box if the Tax Man is good to me (fingers crossed). If i do get the new box I will probably go w/ Intel as they are faster (correct?). I'll check back when I get things sorted. Roger on the dual processor driver.

Good day all – and apologies for asking a question that has probably been asked often in the past. I am finally getting a dual core CPU – either via a new PC or an upgrade to my current PC. Something along these lines = AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ Brisbane 2.9GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Processor I currently have = AMD Athlon 64 AM2 3500+ on Windows XP - and OFF is kind of slow at decent settings when down low/near the front/in a furball – basically, it’s slow when anything interesting is going on. So…how does CFS3/OFF treat dual cores? Any issues? Optimization tips? Will that new chip yield significant FPS gains? Thanks all.

Question - Do you think that the file optimization outlined in the readme would allow me tp fly w/ decent FPS? My system specs are pretty low - see below. I can play stock at very decent FPS but I tried the mods some months back and they just killed my frames. Any insight you can give me would be great. Thanks.
