  2. Hello Community, Its time for me to expand my knowledge and learn new things as I reached a dead end. I need to know a view thing to help me improve my knowledge with the game after I complete models. especially with Service to air units in the game (I tried the knowledge forum but it is too complicated for me). So here it goes. 1- I need to know how to make the data file for the SAM unit and radar modes so they can deduct air target? 2- How to make the radar rotate in the data file. (I know I need to animate the model in 3d max but I need to know how to make it rotate without adding this code to the _TYPES.ini AnimationID=1 AnimationTime=2.0 so it will work as soon as you add it to the game using the Target Area Editor. 3- How to position the missile in the rale of the launchers using the LODViewer. 4- How to test SAM in the game (I tried single mission with only the SAM unite and my jet but nothing worked) There is more but this is good for now if I can get this information that will help me understand the game better Thank you all for your time and help. and please understand English is not my first language.
  3. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge of the game. I will use the information definitely.
  4. Thank you for your reply yakarov79, This is what I need to know, how to get Weapon Position. What should I use to get it? do I use the LODViewer with the C key to get the Position? Correct, But in the game, SAM is random how to make them appear in the mission (sam radar and sam launcher)
  5. Thanks Excellent link Coupi, has a lot of information needed

  11. Hello ravenclaw_007, I have searched and like all of you didn't find anything worth reporting. Therefore I asked one of my friends who happen to have a model to scale of the F-105B Late with 450 wing tanks moded to scale, so I have asked him to send me the file (not the best model but It will do I hope). please find attached the file and some photos of the measurement hope that will help you. Max File Fuel Capacity internal: 7,900 lb (3,580 kg) in seven tanks totaling 1,160 gal (4,460 L) external: 13,190 lb (5,985 kg) in one 390 gal (1,475 L) bomb bay tank, one 650 gal (2,460 L) centerline tank, and two 450 gal (1,705 L) wing tanks
  12. Hello, If I need to separate a part of a rocket to make it get separated from the main body after launching, do I need to do this by animating the part in 3D Max only? Or is there something I need to add to the data file? Thanks

  16. Nex project is the BTR-70. This may take some time as I am working on other projects with other members of the forum community.
  17. Yes, you are correct but this is just to show you what I was thinking of and to understand if this is what you have in mine. this model is just a test only. Correct.
  18. I'm considering making additional airbase designs for the game and would love some ideas from the community in what to design. It would be beneficial if you could provide links, and images for the airbases that you might have in mind. So, please feel free to post replies with your thoughts (: The more information that is provided the better the models will be.
  19. This is just a fast demonstration of my idea of Hidden mountain hangars. there are three hangars and it will be connected by taxiway to the main runway. of cores, I can make the hangar in the mountain deeper and there will be a concrete tunnel to the exit with hard doors.
