  1. I hope it turns out just like the training. Good luck!
  2. I'm glad you guys were already working on it. No prob that you forgot to post. What'd be really great is to see like three categories of calendars: Military Photo, Civilian Photo and Flight Sim Screenshot. Every time I see a good (And suitably large) photo I'll be sure and link it, with author's approval of course.
  3. Alright, I guess I'm the only one. I'll be dusting off Photoshop soon then.
  4. CompSci III AP with C++, Visual Basic and Java. Its nice to switch around between the three every so often. cout << "Its' easy, too." << endl;
  5. Not Bin Laden, unfortunately. Just heard Bush say it, its 7:04.
  6. Yeah, the transition tiles are a bit tricky. I had a bit of fun making 'em for some generic terrain for X-Plane. The hard part is making textures that repeat seamlessly and still look good. If you guys can figure out how to add more terrain types, that'll be excellent. You could then even port in the terrain from sims like Falcon 4.0 or Flanker 2.5.
  7. Thats sick but oh so true. Anyway, good looking textures. BTW, I've wanted to know from the beginning, how many different types of tiles can SF handle? Seems like there are only five different 'sets' that you can modify. Lets see, in the original you have desert, mountain, farm, city and water. Not a lot to play with, having only four different land tiles.
  8. I used to subscribe to Combatsim.com, until they discontinued the daily news and the regular reviews and articles. One thing I really appreciated about Combatsim was the monthly calenders, and unfortunately, they can only be accessed by subscribers now. I was wondering if we might be able to start the same service here. Thanks
  9. Kinda funny, it looks like there are leading edge flaps on the horizontal stabilizer. Can't think of too many aircraft with that feature, lol.
  10. Hey FE, good ta see ya back.
  11. It makes me puke to watch Pearl Harbor and see Jimmie Doolittle played by Alec Baldwin.
  12. Under $15? Well then I'll probly pick it up. Might not be before my pre-ordered Forgotten Battles gets here though. Once I get FB, I'm not gonna be leaving my house.
  13. I just re-installed OpFlash, can you give me the links to all the necessary downloads? Especially all the Vietnam stuff. Unfortunately, I don't have Resistance, if thats a problem.
  14. Wait, this is the first I'd heard of the No-Dynamic-Campaign thing. Probably just my psychi not letting me believe, lol. Are they just going to release it with a Flanker 2.5'ish campaign? And is there any hope for a dynamic campaign to be released later on?
  15. I used a Voodoo 5 before my Radeon 8500. I loved that card. Ran great, drivers were good, Glide support. Really a great card, and thats what I would recommend.
  16. Unfortunately, I didn't listen to it either. I saw it was on, but was a little tied up. A little disrespectful, I know... It sounded a lot like his State of the Union, ironically. I'll post all I know tomorrow after my AFJROTC instructor gives us all the highlights. Col. Praesels pretty good at keeping us up to date on current events.
  17. OMG! Man, whens it OUT!
  18. Is this THE speech? Hope so...
  19. Is pneumonia really that dangerous? I mean, you don't normally hear of anybody dying from it unless they are really old anymore, right? Well, it must certainly be uncomfortable, so *raises mug* Here's to a quick recovery!
  20. k, I was just making sure you had something to compare CFS3 to, :)
  21. Ranger, have you played Il-2 or WWII Fighters? Compared to those two, it can't hold a candle.
  22. Haven't tried it with FSAA lately. Hopefully, now that full scale modding can occur,
  23. Even with the patch, CFS3 is bad. Its really pretty sad that MS would release something like that. What makes me angry though are all the reviewers who gave it decent marks purely because it was a MS product.
