MiG-17PFU Fresco-E upgrade Ver.2 for SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI and maybe SF2/SF2-V
Version 2.5ish Upgrade 4/20/09
This is a simple upgrade that will bring this aircraft to the latest patch standards (08 Level)
This is ALL the other mods complied into a complete package, all inclusive, and is designed to TOTALLY replace any earlier upgrades..
The changes implimented herein are mostly in the switching of the Izumrud nose bubble to a 'pilot seat', ala FastCargo's trick. This will allow it to show on aircraft parked on the line. Included is Mago/Paladrain's cockpit from the PFM. While not a perfect match, it's the 'bestest closest fit', and works REALLY nicely!!
The avionics ini has been updated to include an audio-only RWR; not sure of what type, probably some kind of a Serina, but it does work. The cockpit ini has also been modified to use the original style radar and radar display that Pasko created. No other changes have been made to it. So the instructions given in the original 'readme' still apply for target aquisition, tracking and firing. The is the 'Interception Procedures.txt' included in the main folder.
You'll also find an updated data ini to 08 standards The data ini also has had the gun aim angles adjusted to fire almost perfectly through the center of the sight. Given the lack of ammo in Red Air, this ought to be a big help. You'll also find working landing lights for those pesky night intercepts....you never know when the Political Officer will wander across the runway, drunk as a skunk. This'll allow you to see him and swerve to miss (or not)
It is designed for use with any/all weapons paks, or none. I've incuded the Alkali A & B missiles from the 06 Bunyap Pak; still in their RS-2US and RS-2U naming conventions, in the 'seperate folder' format now usable in all post patch games. For those with SF2 and SF2:V, the weapons data ini for each missile is included in each of the folders. As I don't have these games, you all'll have to figure out the numbering on your own. But, with TKs release of the SF2 weapons editor, this should pose no major problem

This version is designed to completly REPLACE the mod I released some time ago.....
This is an almost complete rebuild of Madcaddie's MiG-17PF 'Fresco-D' limited all-weather, radar equipped interceptor. This has been tweeked to use a modified UV-16 rocket pod as an air-to-air weapon, along with a new-ish version of the S-5 unguided rocket.
Most of the data for this weapons tweek was worked out by Lexx_Luthor in a thread over at the 3rd Wire Message Boards, using some data I've discoverd in the past. (see "Notes" section below for more details). The Flight Model parameters themselves have been copied directly from the latest Fresco-C's, so they are the most current (as of the 08 Patches for WoE).
I'm releasing the ENTIRE aircraft, minus the lods of course, as they exist in all versions of the game,
EVERYTHING is included, all the inis, new 'SovietSilver' larger skin bumps, etc.
Also included is the cockpit, basically Mago/Paladrin's MiG-21MF; with some small modifications to the radar display. And, ONLY available in this mod, a new WoE-style Hangar Screen; the original 'artwork' type is also still included
This is a completly new skin, created from a new template, made by me, based off the original 3rdW units. I've resized it up to 1024x1024, with completly redrawn rivet and panel lines. Also included is a revamped "M17PF.bmp" for the nose radar bubble, also resized and repainted.
You =WILL= be using the weapons editor to add the new rockets and rocket pod!!!!!

MiG-17PF (SP-16) Fresco-D upgrade for SF/SG/ WoV/WoE/WoI and maybe SF2 & SF2-V

This mod also makes ue of the 'station specific code' for the rocket pods, disallowing the use of other weapons as a saftey measure.

this is my first upload ever and the first ever modified tu 16 for a h-6 chinese tanker. i see their is no tankers for the plaaf in ca or anywhere else (the last time i checked)so here it is . if their is no readme/instruction file i say sorry but i'm in a hurry. i want to give credit to all that contributed for each and every file their is in this package. i give you two thumbs up. all the files should be straight forward.

This is a Redo of my earlier Skin. In fact it's a complete new mod.
This is a complete Aircraft. with better Sidewinder rails and a gun firring fake rockets. So now AI will engage Air2Air
with rockets. But whatch the ammo. You only have 24 shots.
ONLY reason to create a gun which is not historical correct on the D model is a compromise betwen realliaty and what the sim allowes
I STRESS again had the sim allowed the AI to engage with rockets I wouldnt have added the Gun tray. but retained the original Rocket tray.
How to install?? Unpack, drag and drop the entire Objects Folder into your WOX install. Add the weapons data and gundata
into the respective ini's open and save with the guneditor and weaponeditor. IF you have Ravenclaw_007's late CL-13B pack
installed only the tanks needs to be added in the weaponsdata.ini.

In 1976, the Spanish Navy, wich couldn´t afford to use a conventional Aircraft Carrier, became
the first navy to use Harriers operationally from a WWII CVL(USS Cabot), the AV-8S "Matador", while
the Royal Navy could still operate F-4Ks and Bucaneers from HMS Ark Royal.
After the Falklands War, the Harrier won the trust of the Spanish Navy command, wich allowed the
following models of the family to stay serving despite the cost it implicated. Such this way, the Harrier
remains in spanish service.

For Post-Patch (9/08 & 10/08) Installs ONLY
A "What If..." aircraft for the early Cold War....
This is a mod of Pasko's Ho-229 into a "What If" aircraft for the immeadate Post-War/Cold War period of 1948-1955.
This is a complete aircraft mod, containing everything needed to just unzip and fly. Some weapons and, of course, a new pilot figure will need installing, but that's a pretty simple matter.
The skin, created from new 1024x1024 templates, is based off the original WW2 Luftwaffe one, and has completly redrawn panel and rivet lines. All new decals representing a ficitonal USAF unit, 54th FIW, are included for 38 aircraft. These are the standard 'buzz numbers' and serial numbers as seen on USAF aircraft of the time period. Period style lighting has been added; running and ID lights, and a landing light. The cockpit, while based off the A-4B, has been extensively edited to make use of the new coding in post-08-patches for the "OpenCockpit", as has the data ini. This allows the external model's canopy frame to work for us. If attempting to use in a pre-patch install, you'll need to make all sorts of adjustments, and even I don't remember them all. Suffice it to say, it's built for post patch -- keep it that way.
A new "WoE-style" hangar screen has been created for this aircraft. Also included are an illustrated Word doc and a pdf with the "What If..." historical notes. Damage tgas are here as well, just in case you happen to get shot up....
This mod is designed for use with, I'm hoping, ANY weapons pak. You may just need to add a few things. If you've already added the weapons provided from another mod or weapons pak, you need not add them again.
= IMPORTANT: This aircraft has been tested in Post-Patch SF/WoV/WoE/WoI. Be advised of the existence of some handling issues prevelant in WW2 era and many Pre-Patch (ie: 06 level) aircraft. Fly accordingly!!! It should also work in SF2 and later iterations - this has NOT been tested, however.
As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions.
