      You must copy this file from Capuns original Mi-24 or AllenJBs Mi-24 mods.

      This package is a mod of Capuns Mi-24P. It is also different from AllenJBs Mi-24P
      Differences:
      * other Cockpit. I use the Su-15TM cockpit of Mago
      * working HUD. (A mod of the HUD i made for the MiG-23MK)
      * some improvements in the data.ini (No stand still rotors in WOI, No heli jumping on the runway, etc)
      * new weapons: Anti Tank Guided Missiles Falanga (laser guided) and Matjulka (wire guided), Areal Weapon Dispenser KMGU, Flare Dispenser ASO-3W(from 1982 onward), Gun pods GUW (12.7mm JakB gatling) and GPW-9 (GSha-23)
      * Roundels and Bordnumbers are not longer part of the skin, they are decals now. If you change the nation, you see the correct insignia on the heli.
      * minor fixes in the skins of the heli
      *new pilot (pilot files have to be placed in objects/aircraft folder)

      INSTALLATION:
       
      -Unzip the file
      -folder Mi-24P must into objects/aircraft folder
      -files from weapons folder put into objects/weapons
      read the instructions in this folder!!!!!!

    2. MIDWAY TERRAIN version 1.1A
      =======================
       
      THIS IS NO NEW VERSION with improvements over version 1.1.
       
      It was neccessary to make this version, because Capun requested to remove his files from this mod.
      So it is now neccessary that you download following files from Capuns homepage
      http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/
      yourself and unzip it into your Objects/Groundobject folder.

      3. CV-5
      4. Fla-MG (you need to download the Browning AAA gunner. From there you need the files BrowningAAA.LOD and BrowningAAA.bmp)

      (You will find, that i have left the subfolders of terrain version 1.1, but i have removed the LOD and BMP/TGA files. So you must unzip the downloaded files in the correct folder)

      0.
      Midway version 1.1 version was made as a response on community reactions who wanted more populated Midway islands. Thanks to Wrench and the others for help and ideas to make Midway terrain better.
       
      WHATS NEW?
       
      The number of target areas was increased from 10 to 21.
      +Kure Atoll airfield is now operational from 1943
      +Trenches and AAA Machinegun sites are added on Midway.

      For the case that you want to know, what if the japanese Landing operation would have been successfull i added
      as easteregg the file Midway What if_targets.ini.
      There the Midways and Kure atoll are in japanese hands. The japanese Navy is operating close to the islands and is waiting on the US counterstrike.
      If you want to play this scenario, backup file midway_targets.ini
      and rename file
      Midway What if_targets.ini.
      into
      midway_targets.ini

      I.
      Midway terrain is made for "Strike Fighters Project 1" SFP1.
       
      You can use it in Wings over Vietnam and Wings over Europe too.
      Wings over Israel can handle this terrain too, but the flight modells of prop driven planes shows anomalies in WOI.
       
      ==============================================
       
      II.
      Midway terrain covers a part of the Central Pacific Ocean with the atolls of Kure and Midway.
      It is the place were in 1942 a big Air-Sea-Battle was fought between the Imperial Japanese Navy and the US Navy. The japanese Navy was superior in numbers of ships, but the US side had some major advantages. No.1, the japanese communication code was broken, so that the US Navy commanders were able to read the enemy commands. No.2, the US had radar coverage, so that enemy surprise attacks were nearly impossible. No.3, the US had the superior number of airplanes which were deciding during the battle.
      The battle was fought as a pure air to sea combat. No single gunfire exchange between naval vessels took place.
      The result was that the japanese Navy lost 4 carriers and the US Navy lost 1 carrier. It was a impressive victory for the USA in Pacifice war theater. You can compare it with the Battle of Moscow on the Eastern Front or the first british victories in North Africa.

      III Known problems
       
      Up today it is impossible to take off and land from carriers while using single missions which are generated by random single mission screen.
      Thatswhy i added invisible airfields for taking off and landing in the centre of carrier formations. You will also start from the sea. This is not satisfying. Thatswhy it is the best to start the mission in the air to overcome this problem.

    3. Campaign Jalalabad Road 1987

      Jalalabad Road 1987
      In the mid of 1987 the soviet garrison of Jalalabad is besieged by Dushman forces. On June 5. soviet airborne rangers and special forces starts an offensive operation to open the road to Jalalabad.
      Your mission is to fly the Mi-24D, Mi-24P, the Su-25 or the Su-22M4 to support the ground forces.
       
      *Mi-24D and Mi-24P and Su-22M4 you can find in the download section of CombatAce.
      *I put a Su-25placeholder into this zip. It is a mod of Erwin-Hans Su-39.
      I made it as a quick and dirty mod to bridge the time till we (hopefully) will have areal Su-25 Frogfoot. Some files of the Su-39 are needed.

      INSTALLATION
       
      1.Unzip Folder Afghanistan87 into your Campaigns folder.
      2.If you have no Su-25 , then unzip the folder Su-25 into your aircraft folder.
      For Su-25 you will need the files Su39.lod, su391_holes.tga, su392_holes.tga and -su391_holes.tga and the camo folder SovietCamo of ErwinHans Su-39. Simply copy this files into Su-25 folder.

      I.
       
      This is a "What if" plane.
      It represent the fictive chinese copy of the fictive soviet fighter plane MiG-23F, without the typical E-8 canards.
      A similar plane was intended by the PLAAF under the designation J-7MF. It was a back up development for the J-10, but never came to prototype status, because the J-10 proved good.

    5. Flyable MiG-27 for WoE
       
      This is a mod of the stock MiG-27 of Wings over Europe.
      It will not work with SFP1 and WOV because the lod files are not included.
      If you want to use it with SFP1 or WOV you must copy the MiG-27.lod files from WOE.

      This is a mod of the stock MiG-23M of Wings over Europe.

      The MiG-23MK is fiction, so far that no carrierborne MiG-23 was built in the Soviet Union. But during the 70th the Soviet Navy had a high ranking aircraft carrier programm (Orel or Orjol class). Orel was canceled by Marshall Grechko who favored the Project 1143, the later Kiev class aircraft carrier.
      For soviet carrier groups the MiG-23 was the planned interceptor, the MiG-27 the intended strike plane. From both types prototypes were built, as far as i know, and were tested at the Saki facility at the Crimea penisula. With the canceling of the Orel was no need for seria production of the MiG-23MK.

    8. F-31G Wirbelwind for SFP1,WOE,WOV,WOI
      ====================================
       
      I. This is my mod of Dels F-31A MustangII for use in the first generation sims SFP1,WOE,WOI,WOV
       
      II. I decided to make a german bird (thatswhy G for Germany), because the X-31 project was mostly financed by the germans. I also decided to make a more real life combat airplane instead of a test bird. So i switched of the Trust Vector plates and deleted a lot of ammo capabilities, reduced the thrust of the engine. Changed the afterburner emitter. Made some small changes in Flightmodel. I also choosed the F-15 cockpit which is standard in WOE and WOI.
      Some changes were neccessary because some features not worled properly in WOE, WOI, SFP1.
       
      III. All credits belongs to Dels who made this fantastic bird or SFP2
       
      IV This mod is Freeware. Commercial use is NOT ALLOWED.

      DISCLAIMER
      ----------
      This is a third party add on of the F-31A using a model
      and cockpit created by me.
       
      It is designed for and works in the SF2 series of games.
       
      VERSION NOTES
      -------------
      I have created this F-31A as if it went into production
      and service during the 90's. So it is the F-31A (not X-31)
      and the skin is for the 421st TFS, 388th TFW 'Black Widows'
      based at Hill AFB.
       
      The X-31 had no official or un-official nickname so I gave
      it the name "Mustang II". If you don't like it, feel free to
      change the AircraftFullName= in the F-31A.ini file.
       
      The cockpit of the X-31 was a little too ancient, so I
      modified my F-23A cockpit for this F-31A. This is also
      what I would expect from an aircraft of the mid 90's.
       
      The cockpit has visible pilot legs which were loaned to
      me by Klavs81, so all the credit to him for those.
       
      I have taken a bit of artistic licence as not a whole lot
      of information was available on the aircraft.
       
      In addition to wing and centerline drop tanks, I have also
      included a special F-31 Dual Rail Adapter (DRA) for use with
      IRM's and AHM's.
       
      INSTALLATION
      ------------
      Very simple, extract the files from the archive to your
      C:\Users\*NAME*\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 folder.
       
      Next,
       
      You will need to add the following to your Squadronlist.ini
      file which should be in your Flight AND Pilot Data folders.
      This is so the Unit Names show up. (*NOTE* This is not
      essential). Make sure the XXX is replaced with the next
      number in sequence in your file:
       
      [squadronXXX]
      Name=421FS
      DisplayName=421st TFS Black Widows
      Nation=USAF
       
      *NOTE* If you do not have a Squadronlist.ini file in your Flight
      folder you will need to extract it from the MissionData001.CAT
      file in your Flight folder using the CatPack utility.
       
      That's it.
       
      You will need Diego's MODUSAF pilot skin for the pilot,
      or you can use whatever skin you like by editing the
      F-31A_Data.ini file.
       
      REMOVAL
      -------
      Reverse the above steps.
