    4. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Thank you for downloading the Mid- and Low-vis generic skin pack and the corrective decal pack for the Thirdwire F-14A and F-14A_77.for the Thirdwire Productions F-14A_77. This pack was made to provide low and medium visibility markings for all squadrons on the stock squadron list.

These decals would not be possible without TK and Thirdwire for creating SF2:NA and in some cases providing some of the artwork here than has been modified to suit the demands of this pack.

Further recognition goes to SuperScale International, Fightertown, Aeromaster, Eagle Strike, FCM, Afterburner, and Custom Aeronautical Miniatures for producing model decals that made good reference material, and to Torsten Anft, Peter Davies, Lou Drendel, Paul Gilchrist, Dave Brown, and many others for their published works and photographs.

      ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Requirements: Strike Fighters 2: North Atlantic.

      Installation:

1: drop the Objects folder into your Strike Fighters 2 mod folder.

      2: Enjoy how you will.

      Known Issues:

1: VF-111 is missing the shark mouth.
A: Without the .out file to determine what the meshname for the nose is, I have decided to exclude this decal for the time being. I will add it once the .out is available.

2: The squadron markings don't look any different from one skin to the next.
A: In many cases, squadron markings didn't change for years. Some squadrons went from high-vis to early low-vis with drastic changes while others never altered their tail art. Some of these squadrons came along after the high-vis period was over and didn't so much as change Air Wings for an entire decade or more. If you see a repeat in squadron decals, that's because that's just how it was.

Thank you for downloading the corrective decal pack for the Thirdwire F-14A and F-14A_77. This pack was made to correct inaccurate or missing decals for the US Navy F-14 squadrons included in Strike Fighters 2: North Atlantic.

Requirements: Strike Fighters 2: North Atlantic.

      Installation:

1: drop the Objects folder into your Strike Fighters 2 mod folder. Allow to overwrite as neccessary.

      2: Enjoy how you will.

      Known Issues:

1: VF-1 and VF-111 are still missing decals.
A: I know. VF-1 is missing it's fuselage stripe and VF-111 does not have the shark mouth. The VF-1 stripe runs along the forward fuselage and passes through a modex number that is placed noticably lower that the modex in other squadrons. This would have negated the generic qualities of these skins. The VF-111 shark mouth on the nose would require adding a new decal data bloc and experimenting with placement. I may yet add this decal later should modders be given access to the .out files with future patches.

1a: Squadron X is still missing decal Y.
A: Probably because they didn't have it during the time period modeled. VF-11 for example didn't have their squadron number on the ventral fins in the early 80's. They had it on the tail, and it's already present in the existing artwork.

2: A lot of these look like the decals I had already.
A: Yes. That just means that there wasn't any problem with the original decal.

    6. ANG C-5A Skin addition

      1) The attached file includes 'West Virginia Air Guard' on the fuselage of the aircraft, just like the real aircraft.

      2) Unfortunately, the lettering only shows up clearly when the gear are up on the aircraft due to the modeling structure of the aircraft.

      Instructions:

      1) Copy file to your C-5A skin directory and allow for override to update the skin.

      2) Go fly!

      Thanks and credit to:
      - TK and Thirdwire
      - Veltro2k for the original C-5A Galaxy upload
      - Pappychksix for the original skin
      - Epizikl for the loading screen
      - Kesselbrut for the cockpit

    8. Well after a couple of months, i finally could release this pack, i tried to get as much information as possible, so if i have something wrong, just let me know and i will try to fix it:)

These skins are made for Lindr2´s MiG-23M´s and they were released for SF2 use by Eburger, you can find the main files here:

      Part 1: http://combatace.com/files/file/12151-sf2-mig-23-mig-27-floggers-part-1/
      Part 2: http://combatace.com/files/file/12150-sf2-mig-23-mig-27-floggers-part-2/
      Part 3: http://combatace.com/files/file/12149-sf2-mig-23-mig-27-floggers-part-3/

i´ve arranged everything for you just to drop it in the main folder for the game of your choice, it can be used in every and all versions of SF2.

I´ve made 2 Gray skins for the early M`s, one for VVS and the other PVO use, and 3 skins for the regular M`s one gray, one in desert colors for far east use and last a PVO one for use in europe.

Numbers were mere repaints of some i´ve found in my hard drive, i don´t know who made them, so if you recognize them, let me know and i will credit you:)

I also added Hangar and Loading screens for the planes and added the main ini, caution, if you don´t like the skins just don´t use the ini, because it will put my skins up front in the game.

Later variants for the Flogger family will be made, including MiG-27`s who are in the list, and the MiG-23ML´s to balance power in SF2:NA.

This skin set couldn´t be made without my brother Daniel "Cocas" Liebaert who patiently showed me the how´s for skinning, a big thanks to him.

Also to Lindr2 who made the base for the plane, hope we can see you soon sir!!!

And to all the advices given here like Wrench, who gave me a hint in stenciling.

Need to let you know this templates were made in 2048 x 2048 resolution, they might give you issues in weak rigs, but can be easily rescaled down.

I really hope you enjoy this pack, and hope i can continue making more.

      Regards.
