Back in the early days of Wings Over series modding The Mirage Factory, lead by bpao was the peak of modding excellence. Many of their models are still heavily in use today, 15 years later and still amongst the very best. This despite the team not creating any new mods since the passing of Oliver Anguille in 2009.
But time does move on, and the next generation of modders have ideas, techniques and tools not available back then. With the help of some of the original modellers (who have copies of the original max files) we can update these fine aircraft for the 2020s. Rebuilt for new terrains and campaigns that were just hopeful wishes over a decade ago.
    The Mirage in the logo is camoflaged, much like the real aircraft in later service. The "HD" has been replaced with "Rebuilt" as what was HD in the 2010s is just standard today. Finally, the new logo thanks Oli, both for the aircraft that are still relevant today
and for the inspiration he's given to the modders that followed him.

                                  Hogs in Reserve: A-10A in Air Force Reserve Service, 1990s
This is a skin and decal mod to bring the A-10s of the US Air Force Reserves throughout the 1990s to SF2
It features skins for both the European 1 green skins as well as the Grey Compass Ghost scheme that the Hogs settled into as the 90s progressed.
Although considered a part time frorce, the AFRES hogs were quite busy throughout the 1990s supporting operations in the Balkans and over Northern Iraq. This mod has pinpointed the aircraft of each unit as accurately as possible within each unit
    
Note: the 706th Fighter Squadron is covered from 1996 on, not the aircraft the squadron used in Desert Storm. most of those went to the boneyard shortly after coming home as the squadron converted to F-16s for a few years.

Indo-Pak mod Mystere IVA Indian Air Force Skin Pack
 
 
A Skin pack that is basically meant to update the stock Wrench's Thirdwire Dassault Mystere IVA(Indian AF) that is a part of the Indo-Pak mod aircraft package.
 
The package has been tested on a merged Indo-Pak SF2 install( SF2/SF2E/SF2V/SF2V/SF2I/Exp pack1 & 2/SF2NA updated upto July 2012 patch) . It does not contain any cockpit or lod files and uses stock Mystere IVA a/c and cockpit model. All skin textures are in jpeg format.
 
It *may* not work properly if your install does not satisfy the above requirements
 
Package contains serial number decals(all 110 IAF Mystere IVA airframes), skins and markings for all Indian AF Mystere IVA squadrons that took part in the 1965 Indo-Pak war( No. 1 "Tigers" , No. 3 "Cobras" , No. 8 'Pursoots" , No. 31 "Lions" and No. 32 "Thunderbirds")
 
 
Installation
Warning : This is meant strictly for the Indo-Pak mod on a full SF2 merged install and it will overwrite the MystereIVa.ini file. I will not be reposible if you chose to install it over a generic install and it messes up your ini files.Should you choose to install it a non-Indo-Pak install, do so at your own risk.
 
Drop the contents of the file(Aircraft & Decals folders) in your X:\Users\YYYY\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Objects folder and let it overwrite (assuming yours is a Indo-Pak mod install).

This here is a "new" skin for The Mirage Factory's Mirage IIIC, representing EC 3/10 Vexin in 2-tone desert camoflague, as they appeared during the Chad/Libyan war, based in Djbouti. EC 3/10 was the last unit in the AdA to use the Mirage III. I've given it a start date of 1984, so the 'SF2 Date Switch' will turn it on then.

Reminder: this is for the IIIC =ONLY!!!=, NOT the IIICi!!
Almost all marking are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. The skin remains in it's original bmp format. A skin specific Hangar screen was created just for this mod. Also included, are updated Data and loadout inis, containing Crusader's animation fix for the intake shock cones, and a small weapons twerk. I'd suggest backing up your originals, as a "CYA" measure.
When 'in game', on the Loadout screen, unit selection drop down, you'll see:

Although, wherever your flying it WILL turn on automaticlly.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included.

Super Mystere Sa'ar, Fuerza Aérea Hondureña (Honduran Air Force)
-- For SF2, Full-4 Merged (Prefered) and/or any combination -WITH- SF2:I --
 
This mod =REQUIRES= a Full-4 Merged install, or at the very least, SF2:I for the various and sundry bits used herein (to, wit, the Mystere IVA cockpit from SF2:I). If you do NOT have the minimum required game installs, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS MOD, as you won't be able to use it.
 
This is a mod of the SF2:I Super Mystere Sa'ar into those as used by the Honduran Air Force. This depicts the aircraft as originally delivered to the FAH in 1976, still wearing the 3-tone IDF desert camo.
 
As the Sa'ar is not player flyable "out of the box", this pak will make it so, using the Mystere IVA cockpit (also from SF2I -hence, it's requirement!!). This package can be used in one of 2 ways:
 
1) As an add-on skin for the Sa'ar (with the included, adjusted userlist ini) or
 
2) As a stand-alone, nationalized aircraft.
 
All the various inis, skin and decals are provided for either choice. Instructions are in the "To Install" section. 100% historicaly correct FAH serial number decals are included.
The canopy has been activated; use Shift/0 to open and close.
 
As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).

As a bonus, different aircraft configuration files are included in the "(Alternative Data)" folder. You'll be able to choose between realistic loadouts (default configuration of the aircraft add-on package) and what-if loadouts inspired by the mentioned F-22 videogames of the late 90s, namely weapons included in F-22 Lightning 3. Both configurations are also available with the addition of invisible skids; those will allow you to perform belly landings, which are a feature of good old F-22 Total Air War.
Notes:
-The B61 tactical nuclear bomb is a retarded version, but drop it safely from high altitude at high speed. Take note that it does not damage the stock Runway object, due to the armor values of it. The B61 is meant to be used against naval fleets you may encounter on some custom terrains.
-You need to tweak the SoundList.ini file in order to fully experience any new sounds. Read "(Add to SoundList)" for further details, and remember to extract the SoundList.ini file from the FlightData.cat archive, if you do not have a custom one in your mod folder already.

Ejército del Aire F-104G - ALA-12

The Spanish Air Force received their F-104s under the Military Assistance Program: 18 Canadair-built F-104Gs
and three Lockheed-built TF-104Gs were delivered under MAP to Spain's Ejército del Aire in 1965.
These aircraft were transferred to Greece and Turkey when they were replaced by F-4 Phantoms in 1972.
It is notable that no aircraft were lost through accidents during 17,000 hours of operational use in Spain
although it should also be noted that the aircraft was used only in its intended role of an interceptor and
mainly in very good flying weather.

The RCAF have finally decided in 2023 to bought 11 MQ-9B SkyGuardian armed drones.
5 units will be based with the 8th Wing
5 units will be based with the 16th Wing
1 unit will be based with the 19th Wing
The serail numbers, plane numbers, plane designation have not yet been officialised. I dig down the drone designation within the RCAF and the next available number as for today is the CU-177. So i decided to give it the CU-177 designation. I also decided to give the the serials number 177001 to 177011 to match the RCAF serail designations. 
You will get the CU-177 skin in this package
Installation:
Copy the current pack objects/aircraft folder in your game GK_General_Atomics_MQ-9Reaper_Blk_30_ER aircraft folder.
Copy the current pack objects/decals folder in your game GK_General_Atomics_MQ-9Reaper_Blk_30_ER decals folder.
Copy the GK-MQ-9_Blk_30_ER.ini content to the game GK_General_Atomics_MQ-9Reaper_Blk_30_ER aircraft folder and change textureset number accordingly.
Copy the GK-MQ-9_Blk_30_ER_USERLIST.ini content to the game GK_General_Atomics_MQ-9Reaper_Blk_30_ER aircraft folder.

SF2 A-1H Skyraider (3W) VA-75 Skin Pack       1/11/2024
-For SF2, Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended-- must have access to the A-1H Skyraider in your mods folder(s)
This here is a new skin for the stock 3W A-1H Skraider, depicting VA-75 "Sunday Punchers" in approx 1962 aboard USS INDEPENDENCE in Southeast Asian waters.
Most markings are decals, excepting for the squadron color bands on the rudder. Through the magic jiggery-pokkery of Level 2 decals, the CAG color bands are also available when you select modex #500. The line birds have their correct markings. All serial numbers are 100% historically correct for this unit at this time period.
It should be noted, nothing is provided to make this AI aircraft flyable; you should have alread done that. This is just the textures and decals.
As is always reccomendified, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.

     Bye Bye Bitburg! Last Days of the 36th Fighter Wing in Germany
This skin pack is to represent the 36th FW with its 22nd and 53rd Fighter Squadrons during Bitburgs last two years of operations. During this time the 36th still deployed to Aviano AB  in support of Operation Deny Flight, the no fly zone over the former Yugoslavia.

        Installation
first get the F-15C_91 aircraft, commonly found here

after you extract the F-15C_91 aircraft and put it into your aircraft folder
alternately you can use the F-15C_91 from this mod without having to hunt for it
 
unzip this mod. open "To Mods" Folder. place contents into your chosen mods folder and allow overwrites
