    1. Republic P-47D-25 Thunderbolt (BubbleTop) by Wolf257
Please note this aircraft mod is released "As Is"; any flaws or faults NOT caused by my ini edits are most likely unfixable and must be lived with (until a replacement model is created by one of our over-worked 3D Gurus). I just want to get this off my hard drive, and have 'those that know' test and experiment with the FM -- it NEEDS more fine tuning (see "Notes" below).

This is a complete aircraft, and is designed for Post-World War 2 usage, by the USAF and several Allied airforces; in particular those in Latin America.

      Included skins are:

      USAF Post-War Natural Metal, 525th FBS, circa 1946, West Germany;
      1º Grupo de Caça, Brazilian AF, WW2 MTO (OD/Gray);
      1º Grupo de Caça, FAB, Post-War natural metal (called "FAB2"; reuses some historic decals from the above skin, repainted for NM usage, and all new post-war serials for 25 aircraft -there're still more to be done, if someone wants to!);
      Escuadrón de Caza, Colombian AF, 1946- the late 50s. 100% accurate serials;
"Generic" NM, for anyone else, and can be used as a basis for other countries (Italy, France, RAF, etc)

All markings excepting the 2 FAB skins and the FAC post-war with painted-on rudder stripes, are decals.

2 cockpits are included, one is the Mustang-style from the original release, and Stary's 'Generic Late WW2 Cockpit' - which it is set to use right now. You can switch as you wish (Stary's is better, of course). All external lighting is 100% correct for this model.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. It is suggested that you unzip the archive to a temp folder or your desktop to access the entire 'readme' before instilling.
Also, give the "Notes" section a read for further information and stuff like that there, illuminating defects, flaws, my goofs, and etc. It should be noted, that as we ONLY have the -25 model, it is incorrect for the units/countries depicted herein. These would/should be later production D models, with the fin filet.

We make do with what we have.

    2. Thunder(bolt) and Lightning In SoWesPac

-P-47D-20 Thunderbolt & P-38F Lightning in the Pacific-
-- Something for the PTO players --

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
*There is a possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*

Mods/reskins/redcals for 2 of Wolf257's WW2 aircaft. This package contains BOTH full, complete aircraft:

P-47D-20 (Razorback) Thunderbolt, with 2 skins:
348th FG, originally by Major Lee (with some new decals by me), circa 1943-ish
39th FS, 35th FG circa 1944/45 in the Phillipines
"Generic" P-38F Lightning for late 42-43 (pre-red outline starbar)

All skins are in jpg format, Decal Randomization is TRUE. Both get new SF2 versions of the original 'box art' hangar screens. DDS damage textures for the Jug; the old tga version are still used on the Lightning. Destroyed models are included for both (taken from the WW2 terrains).

Stary's WW2 late 1 cockpit is included for the Jug. The P-38 uses it's original Wolf pit.
Both have semi-compliant SF2 Flight Models, but they do need further fine tuning by experts. All lighting on both aircraft is 100% historically correct.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Major Lee's original readme for the 348th skin is included for historical purposes

    3. SF2 WW2 ETO P-47D Razorback Pak

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --
      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However due to the excessive modifications made to fit into the SF2 environment, not all features will be avaliable.*
*Note X2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in the ETO envrionment. Specific versions for use in the MTO will be released seperately, when required (and available!)*

Mods to Wolf257's P-47D Razorback Thunderbolt. This package "represents" mid production (-20) Razorback Jugs from the mid war to the end of the war time frame.
This is a FULL aircraft pak, designed to REPLACE any others you may have (of Wolf's), with (pretty much) all the trimmings. This pack contains the following skin/decal sets:

      61st FS, 56th FG
      334th FS, 4th FG

Decal randomization is TRUE, and the NEW skin is in Jpg format. Nose arts are included, and are 98.6% historically accurate for both sets.
Weapons, pilot figure, and engine sound are included. A New 'box art' style Hangar, now fully SF2 compliant, is included for your viewing pleasure.
Any changes that have been introduced, are listed in the 'ChangeLog', in the "Notes" section.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Wolfs original readmes, when discoverable, are included for historical purposes. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Please READ the 'To Install" section after unzipping, but BEFORE installing for an important note about possible conflicts with other Jug mods.

    4. Harvard Mk.IIB, Indian and Pakistani Air Forces Pak
      = For SF2 series Games, Full 4/5 Merged =

-An addition for the Indo-Pak Mod-

This is a package of Harvard trainer aircraft for both the Indian and Pakistani air forces.
It contains 2 complete aircraft and the PAF variant has 2 skins, as shown in the accompaning screenshot. All weapons, sounds, NEW dds damage textures and a 'generic' hangar screen are included. A 'new' destroyed model is included (it's close enough in shape!<g>)

All skin textures are jpg, and Decal randomization is set to TRUE.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please READ them! Also, the "Notes" section for more details.

    5. SF2 WW2 PTO P-39/P400 Airacobra Pak

-- Something for the PTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*

Mods/reskins/redecaling for Wolf257's WW2 aircaft. This package contains 2 complete aircraft, broken down by aircraft and skins:

      P-39D
36th FS, 8th FG in early 1942 ("meatball" star)
      39th FS, 35th FG, mid-1942
41st FS, 35th FG, late-1943 (star & bar, white tail)

      P-400
39th FS, 35th FS, early 1942 (RAF camo & serials)

All skins are in jpg format, and are brand new builds for this mod. Decal Randomization is TRUE. .
Due to both aircraft sharing the same lod, all skins are fully interchangable with each other.
A new cockpit, Stary's 'Midwar #3' replaces both the modded Hurri pit I'd been using, and the original Wolf pits.
Both new SF2 versions of the original 'box art' hangar screen. Damage textures are the old tga ones.

Both have semi-compliant SF2 Flight Models, but they do need further fine tuning by experts (it's actually TOO good!). All lighting is 100% historically correct.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Remember -- these are very old models, so "they are as they is". All original readmes, when discoverable, are included.

    6. Hawk 75A-C7, ML-KNIL

      =for SF2, (Full4/5 merged reccomended)

      -Something for the PTO players*-

*even if we don't have an NEI map; at least you'll have the aircraft.*

This is a revamp for SF2, a modification of Wolf257's P-36/Mohawk into the Hawk 75 export version, as used by several Allied nations
      .
It represents aircraft from the ML-KNIL during the opening days of the War in the Pacific, in the defense of the Netherlands East Indies (Java and Sumatra, for those that don't know)

This creates a country specific version for use in your World War 2: PTO installs ONLY!! As such, all the loadout have been adjusted to fit KLU aircraft of the time. The 'fake pilot method" (patentpending) is used to add the 2 underwing pylons for light bombs (either RAF50 or US 100 pounders)

This is the complete aircraft; serial numbers are historically correct, but I could not determine which squadron used what number; consider them generic in this respect. A new cockpit (one of Stary's WW2 pits) replaces the original, as the gauge needles have disappeared due to a material issue. This cockpit MAY be more historicaly correct; French Hawk75s used a reflector gunsight -so perhaps they were also used on other export versions.

I've also adjusted the operational service years/dates; they historically were all destroyed by February, 1942; in the 1stGen version we couldn't have the mm/dd/yyyy but now in SF2 we can have them end on the 28th of Feburary.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Remember -- these are very old models, so they "are as they is". All original readmes, when discoverable, are included.

    7. SF2 WW2 RAAF Dakota (C-47A)

      -- Something for the WW2 players --

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged -PLUS- SF2I Expansion Pak 1 Required!!! =

*Note: you MUST have SF2I Expansion Pak 1 to gain access to the C-47A to add this mod to. If you do
not meet this requirement, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS MOD, as you'll be unable to use it.*

A quickie redecaling of the 3W Skytrain to represent Royal Australian Air Force Dakotas in the SoWesPac region. 12 serial number/radio callsign decals are included; these are 100% historically accurate for the aircraft depicted. However, lack of clear shots of the tail made me 'guess' as to the use of the fin flash. I think it looks nice, so I left it on (some seem to have had it, some not)

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet fairly detailed install instructions are included. So, please
      read them.
This is another bird that will look nice sitting parked around you WW2 PTO airfields!

    8. SF2 WW2 C-47 Skytrain

      -- Something for the WW2 players --
      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged -PLUS- SF2I Expansion Pak 1 Required!!! =

*Note: you MUST have SF2I Expansion Pak 1 to gain access to the C-47A to add the mod to. If you do

A quickie redecaling of the 3W Skytrain to represent Early WW2 C-47s in use pretty much anywhere in
the world. It uses the stock OD skin, with the Round Star (no meatball, no bars) as seen from May
1942 through September(ish) 1943. 12 serial number decals are included; these ARE actual C-47A
      serials from the correct timeframe.

Also included is Kesselbrut's cockpit*, for those that haven't made it flyable, and a new engine
sound, of an actual C-47. The userlist ini also included, adding Australia as a new nation; a WW2
RAAF skin is in the works.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please
      read them.
This will look quite good sitting parked around you WW2 airfields!

*Note: although a cockpit is supplied, it is reccomended to leave the aircraft under AI control.
There is very little actual use for transport aircraft in game, at the moment, other than as eye
      candy.
