  1. SF2 Su-7BMK "Fitter-C" Algerian Air Force Skin Pack

    SF2 Su-7BMK "Fitter-C" Algerian Air Force Skin Pack                                             8/30/2025
    -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Recommended)
Here is a new(ish) skin for the stock 3W Sukhoi Su-7BMK "Fitter-C"", as used by the Algerian Air Force from 1972 thru the late 1980s. The aircraft is painted in Egyptian Nile Style camo, as used when these aircraft were sent to Egypt in 1973,  but with the correct style serial number decals. This is a 'rebadging' of the stock 3W skin. Research has NOT turned up any information or pictures of any other paint schemes from when they were first delivered.
If you have made this aircraft flyable, and use the "read only main ini trick", you'll have to turn that off after adding this skin, even though this does replace the stock one. See "Installation" for more details.
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. The Serial numbers are historically correct for this type of aircraft.  You'll have 18 of them. However, while all the numbers are correct, they should be considered Generic in nature, as I could not find which squadron each served in.  The skin remain in it's 'as issued' BMP format (3w Rez)
When on the Loadout Page, you'll see:
    Algerian Camo (Nile Style)<1972
This is changed from the original listing on the texture set inis, because of the addition of specific decal randomization text. The actual folder name is QJJCamo.
I have included a modified data and loadout ini. The data ini gives the aircraft some "hardening" (via aluminum armor), and the loadout ini adds the drop tank for all missions. I've also included a new pilot figure, "RedAir1".  The canopy is also activated, it uses the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero).
What I have NOT given you, are the bits and bobs necessary to make it Player Flyable (tm). If you haven't done this, you'll have to root around for the needed cockpit in the CA downloads; it's not very hard to find. However, I have given you repainted gunsight TGAs. They're in a very bright yellow, so as to make it easier to see for us Old Folks (tm).
As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Also, the Notes section has more details on the changes.
    Happy Landings!

  2. SF2 Sukhoi Su-7BMK Indian Air Force Pack (3W)

    SF2 Sukhoi Su-7BMK Indian Air Force Pack (3W)      1/8/2025
-For SF2, Any and All (Full Merged Recommended)
The pack contains 4 remade skins for the stock 3rd Wire Su-7BMK "Fitter-A" fighter-bomber as used by the Indian Air Force. It also includes Stary's cockpit, modified data, loadout and avionics inis. The aircraft is now Player Flyable (tm) As is to be expected on stock normally AI-only aircraft, a quick restore main ini is also included. It should also be stated, the 'game using' Main Ini, has been rendered "Read-Only", so as not to loose it's Player Flyable (tm) status. The included "make if flyable" parts can be used on any of the other Su-7s in the Game's Hangar. An SF2 version of my "box art" hangar screen is also included. The canopy opens/closes with the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero).
The Indian Air Force squadrons represented herein are:
    No. 32 Sqdn "Thunderbirds"(Blu/Tan/Brn-71)
    No. 101 Sqdn "Falcons" (NMF)
    No. 221 Sqdn "Valiants" (Brn/Grn Camo -74)
    No. 222 Sqdn "Tigersharks"(Blu/Grn/Brn <71)
The SF2 "date switch" is active, and will turn on the various skins on the year indicated above. 101 Sqdn, being NMF is the 'start at the beginning skin'. All markings are decals, with the exception of the national markings on #32 Squadron. All serial numbers (86 - all I could find) are 100% historically correct for this mark Fitter. Decal Randomization is TRUE. Unfortunately, I could not match serials with squadrons, so these serials are done "3rd Wire Style (tm)", being pooled for use on all 4 skins.
As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. The Change Log List is also in the Notes section. Where possible, I've included the original 1stGen readmes for historical credits.
    Happy Landings!
