Coming back to SF2 after a year away as I wait for Ace Comat 8 to drop. It's good to be back, I like it here

Even if I'm not talking entirely willingly, I do think making it so you need to interact with the community to be given access to downloads is quite brilliant. 
I have a tendency to lurk wherever I go because I'm just too afraid to make contact, what if the people here find my presence undesirable?

Well, since here I don't have a choice to break the ice, it makes the move a lot less scary and makes it so I'm more interested in settling here. 
Plus it works great for the intended reason of preventing abuse of downloads.
