A carrier based Me-163 Komet with prop, a very nice what if.

Found this while surfing one of my fav webs, it's an old post but the concept is so radical that I tought you will enjoy discovering it. A carrier based, prop Me-163.

Would be a interesting addition for Take off and to get closer to the target, then you engage the rocket engine while the propeller blade folds like seen in some powered saiplanes...

Such a small prop engine would not have enough power to be usefull for a fighter plane.
