Request/Hopefully a resource thread down the line?

So, I was thinking, does anyone happen to have any like 3D aircraft lying around? I was considering experimenting with trying to add a new aircraft but to call me a modeler would be… inaccurate at best. And was wondering if anyone had some 3D files just hanging around that I could utilize for mad scientist-type experiments (and, of course also for anyone else who may need them)

You mean like 3d max files?  Raw file to edit in 3dmax 2009?

there was the alphasim model collection. cant recall where the thread is about it tho

and yakarov79,  dont forget Blender2.79  as a method to model.  Max2009 is harder to get legitimately than unicorn turds.......

Yea..but I can not provide any support regarding Blender. Hence, my question if raw max file is good enough. I have a few here and there. I can spare a castrated model for educational purposes.

I mean, if I can port it to blender, it’ll do. I don’t have 3dMax2009 unfortunately so that’s a bit of a roadblock for me there.

There's plenty online max to obj/fbx/stl etc. converter site online.

that's how I works if someone pass me the max files to be done in blender. No need to install 3Dmax. in the end, what we need is LOD files, and Mue already provided both max and blender plug-ins.
