Språket på dette forumet er engelsk. Så jeg tenker at man kan sette sammen noen setninger ved å bruke enkle Google Translate. Og uansett, velkommen til forumet

As Staff we had a conversation about this, and overall what you do is highlight the text and then translate it to whatever language. So no more clowning on people because with that then forum language is what you translate it, hence me responding in Spanish. So English isn't the forum standard, per Eirk.

Maybe I interpret this wrong... sorry, English is NOT my native language...
But it will be a polyglot mess if anyone can start a topic in any language he/she sees fit. It also splits up the community, as English is the common denominator for everyone to use so for everyone to be able to get involved.

I think that every topic should therefore use English, and if a user doesn't speak English it is up to him/her to translate that text, and answer back in English by using a translatror...
It's illogical for me to put up a text in Dutch and expect all of the readers to do their effort. And if more and more topics start in languages I do not understand rightaway, I am not engaging in it anymore... I am getting fed up by people NOT making an effort and therefore forcing ME to take extra steps. It's decency to use a common language EVERYONE (more or less) understands...

I mean I don't disagree with you, but with modern translation systems it makes it too easy to figure out what is being said, and think that it should also be English Only, but I don't run the site, so Erik pointed that out to us when I brought up this issue. I mean yeah sure, English because I only really speak it primarily, but again, I don't make up the rules, just gotta enforce them.

So... instead of 1 person (the topic starter) taking the trouble to use a translator, everybody else (the readers and the ones with possible help or answers) is forced to use a translator?
I too am one of the many users of whom English is not the native language, so that is no excuse. It does not agree with me, and I will not play along.

Yes, this isn't as difficult as it seems. And besides, it's how things will go. Now I've entertained this discussion long enough, I'm closing the topic.
