Yep the Fouga is my baby ! NGHENGO is currently modding one ..

 

And yes bis, I have this skin, but the fuel tanks and ecm pod are still in the old scheme (i've repainted them)

 

Anyway, did anyone notice that the exhaust is too large ? what a pity ! because the rest of the mod is nearly perfect !

Yep the really good "14F"skin from Check6, but it isn't complete.

That's because a straight tailpipe requires far fewer polygons and far less work than one with a decreasing radius.

The "14F" lacks some details, but is quite good. Here are the things I added with Photoshop:

> red stripes on the air intakes

> quick (bad) repaint of the fuel tank !

> decayed paint on the tail made by the horizontal stabs (when in landing/take off position)

Your comparison is interesting !

The Super-Etendard colours lost a part of their brightness years after years, so your skin is much more realistic and the glossiness is far better. In my opinion you should just increase the structure lines. The french roundels you used are the good one (whitout the yellow circle), and you need the "flotille" logo on the tail.

I won't upload my version , because I only retouched this skin for my own whithout permission.

Indeed the "14F" skin should be the early 2 tone cammo of the Super-Etendards, and yours should be the nowadays one.

Thanks for the observations. The wing panel lines will come up some more but not much more than the fuselage. I hate those dark panel lines that leap off the skins. I still have details yet to go.
