BUFF Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 don't think that there's any in the stock game, as the pilot you wouldn't hear it anyway but someone did do a mod for it in SF iirc. Quote
Tannethal Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 (edited) Strike Fighters Project1 if I recall correctly iirc: Forum/Chatroom slang afaik ;-) There was once a thread where all those abr. were explained. S! Edited February 6, 2007 by Tannethal Quote
csb Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Ah, silly me. I have seen that a few times and in the context(s) used I always thought it was some a/c electronics. Thanks. Quote
Shin_kazama Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Ah, silly me. I have seen that a few times and in the context(s) used I always thought it was some a/c electronics. Thanks. hey where could i find the mach 1 sound efx(external & internal) and cockpit soundproofing mods/patches around here? i improved my sidewinder growl(IRGrowl) but in the cockpit, i cant near hear it except when tracking a hot target(IRgrowllock) i both imported new sidewinder growls from falcon 4.0 Af. i envy so much the sonic booms in LOMAC videos ive seen in youtube. and lastly can you tell me how to "video" my gameplay and save it? arrigato. csb Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 You can increase/decrease (and do minor effects) the RWR sound and any other using the stock winXP sound recorder Easy to use. There is nothing ingame to save video of gameplay But you can use FRAPS - FREE version only saves about 60 sec of video plus sound. I've never heard about a SonicBoom sound mod before, nor seen it. Fubar512 Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 I've never heard about a SonicBoom sound mod before, nor seen it. They're probably referring to this video, HERE, that I posted last July. It was inspired by something I discovered while messing with Kreelin's Sound3D. Quote
csb Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 hey where could i find the mach 1 sound efx(external & internal) and cockpit soundproofing mods/patches around here? Ah, the video demonstrating what Shin is after. Yes, it 'appears' to sound like sonic boom - but it's not. This mod adds cockpit soundproofing. Shin, Check this thread http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=17181 It sure is a worthile mod. Quote
