Hey everyone,

I have found a patch for "Desert Storm 1991" but can't find the main package. I would LOVE to play some Desert Storm missions/campaigns in SFP1, but I cant find a campaign.

Does anyone know where I can get one.

Thanks in advance

I think that was for a multiplayer setup so that everyone would have a common install to play Desert Storm multiplayer flights.

There is a Desert Storm campaign in the works though.

Wrench,

Please include the forgotten F-4Es from Clark AB.

i want to be able to fly the last USAF F-4E combat mission.

" By 1975, the wing moved to Clark AB, Republic of the Philippines, helping that nation transform into a stable democracy. The Wing deployed six F-4Es to Turkey for Operation Desert Storm in early 1991 where they flew some of that aircraft's last combat sorties. "

"Also, in the last days of the war, the Air Force sent into the theater four F-4Es equipped with Pave Tack"

Don't see why we can't, you got pics of them in the DS colors?

They almost mobiized 6 of our F-4Es from the 122FW during the last week. They decided the ground war was moving too fast and they didn't need us or our designator pods.

Found this link whilst searching...

has some photos of F-4E's from the 3rd TFS at Clark Field, circa late 80/90s. It mentioned the deployment to Turkey. There alos seems to be 2 distincnt paint jobs -- the 3tone SEA style, which I'm assuming is 80s, and a 2tone gray, like the F-4G Weasels, probably 1990-ish??

More info is defianetly needed; photos, paint chips, whathaveyou

My dad was through that area in 44/45, during the war (obviously!) Manila, Tacloban, etc.

I'd be careful about dateing those schemes Wrench. At the 122 FW we had 2 birds painted in Asia1 (3 tone with green and tan), 5 painted in European1 (3 tone with green and grey), and 17 painted Egypt1 (2 tone grey) right up till the Phabulous Pharewell in July 1991. We took delivery of F-16C-25s from Shaw AFB (6 Desert Storm vets including "Saber One" AF84-314) and Hahnn AFB.

They can be. Do you mind if they are added?

Not at all. We were there too. I'll send you a CF188 skin for the period

Wiki:

"In 1991, Canada committed 26 CF-18s to the Gulf War (aka Desert Shield/Desert Storm), these were based in Doha, Qatar. During the Gulf War, Canadian pilots flew 5,700+ hours, including 2,700 combat air patrol missions. These aircraft were taken from Canada's airbase in Germany, CFB Baden-Soellingen (now a civilian airport). In the beginning the CF-18s began sweep and escort combat missions to support ground-attack strikes by Allied air forces. However during the 100-hour Allied ground invasion in late February, CF-18s also flew 56 bombing sorties, mainly dropping 500 lb (230 kg) conventional ("dumb") bombs on Iraqi artillery positions, supply dumps, and marshalling areas behind the lines."
