+allenjb42 Posted December 1, 2007 Author Posted December 1, 2007 Actually, Namer means 'leopard', and we already used that for the fictional Israeli F-5E. I do like Arye though, so if no one objects , that's what we'll use. Mazeltov triplethr3at, you get a virtual crate of Maccabi beer and a bowl of falafel Quote

Viggen Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Hey where is that Avia S-199 Messerschmitt and Israeli skin? It says it has been released Quote
+Wrench Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 My site only, on the "new aircraft & skins' page. Please remember, that it's still using the 109G10 body, so we don't have the correct nose and propeller. Also, since Capun posted the beta models....there's this in the works too. This is just the first pass on painting it...it'll need to be totall redone as I've now got the correct colors and patterns from 'a friend' Wrench kevin stein (link down here in my sig) Quote

THAT ALREADY EXISTS?!?!?! I've been killing myself trying to skin a 109 and fiddle with the prop TGAs all day. Well, it's a fine model anyway, much better than I could have done. Quote
+Wrench Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I'd say so... Why would you be fiddling with the prop tgas??? There's nothing wrong with the one it has.. It just has the wrong nose (and can't be fixed) As for skinning, well...let's just say my 109G template is over 75 megs....lots of layers Wrench kevin stein Quote
Longestpants Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Why would you be fiddling with the prop tgas??? There's nothing wrong with the one it has.. I wanted to mess with the coloring, maybe see if I could get it to look more paddle bladed and ungainly; so, no particular reason. Quote
+allenjb42 Posted December 3, 2007 Author Posted December 3, 2007 (edited) Major update to the list, because I got Bill Norton's essential Air War on the Edge for a birthday present, so I've added a few more planes that weren't in my original sources. Thanks to the A-Team's Beta release policy we now have: Beechcraft Bonanza Yes No (skin on the way thanks to Wrench) Beech B200 Super King Air and RC-12 Guardrail (Hebrew nickname: Tzufit (Thrush)) Yes No. If any one wants to try an IAF skin, these are painted in overall grey (FS3635) like US Army machines, black radome, anti-glare panels on the nose and engine cowlings, and chrome spinners (from Air War on the Edge - Bill Norton p346). Actually, this is retty much the skin that comes with the plane anyway! Mil Mi-8 Yes No . A skin for this captured aircraft has been done by Michael Pearson for the FS2004 Mi-8 and can be seen at Avsim if anyone wanted to use it as a basis for doing one for the A-team's bird.
