lazboy Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 Has anyone as yet thought about modelling this late model Chinese J7 variant with a double delta wing planform that is supposidly in use with the PLA? Quote
JediMaster Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I've never seen that before. I'm guessing lower roll rate but higher weights and ceiling and longer ranges possible. Quote
SayethWhaaaa Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 I've been seeing schematics of this double delta for years but this is the first actial photo I've seen. Doesn't it help produce higher lift at lower speeds? Quote

lazboy Posted August 30, 2007 Author Posted August 30, 2007 Here is some info: http://www.sinodefence.com/airforce/fighter/j7e.asp Thanks for the link to the additional technical information I am even more intrigued now that it is apparently serving with the Pakistani Air Force (PAF) under the designation F-7PG. I shall have to search the internet for any specific references to the F-7PG in Pakistani Air Force service. Quote
