rhugouvi Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Hi all, I'm gathering several add-ons to update MK2's Aces of Viet-Nam campaign, and some were made by Armourdave (his F-105s and Su-17 pit for the MiG-17 and MiG-19). I'd like to get his permission to use his work in the update, so that I could release it. I've written his PMs here and on Column5, no reply so far. Anyone knows if he's still around? Quote

That is because he is not around. Just give him credit in the read me and you will be fine. Quote
+BUFF Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 He's in the Far East - Thailand iirc. Quote
+Deuces Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 I see him on ICQ pretty often. I'll send him a message to check the thread. Quote

SandyC Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Yeah, Armourdave is missed around the Thirdwire series. He was one of those who kept the faith in the pioneering days, produced some great add-ons, especially my favourite, the Thud, and pointed the direction towards WoV with preparatory work on the 'Vietnam add-on'. He was a good guy, so I hope life is treating him well. Quote
+JediMaster Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 He's one of the many early modders that are sorely missed. LvP is another one, off the top of my head. Quote
