Hi there,

 

just reporting crashes to desktop on an AMD64, 1GB Ram and GF 7600GT in a otherwise clean Natofighters I+II WoE Installation.

Happened inside and outside the cockpit but only after tried to take off by applying power and countering a verr with rudeders, if left alone nothing seems to happen.

 

Imported the weapons into my install but there is no model for the MW2 dispenser defined, there is just that tiny submunition bomblet displayed on the pylon.

You're definitely choosing the right version of the MW? On mine it is right down the bottom of the list of weapons loadable for the fuselage stations, as '8 MW-1 Area Dispenser', but there is also an entry for '1 MW-1 Area Dispenser' mountable on the wing pylons. As you said, this only loads 1 sub-munition on the pylon. This could be another small ini error, but at least it doesn't cause a CTD.

The MW1 weapon is part of the model. It´s setup as pylon under the fuselage. The problem is, i wanted to see the bomblets coming out, so the weapon had to be setup as rocket pod. But the game engine allows a maximum of 32 rockets each pod, what is not enough for one MW1. Thats the reason why you can mount 8 of these under the fuselage, by only having one canister visible there. Of course the Tornado can load other rocket pods, like the Matra to wing pylons. That´s the reason why the MW1 as selectable for there. But you just shouldn´t, cause its not possible in reality.

Silly me,

No F15A or C shall carry a bomb

and other ones from USAFMTL

 

Never load Tornado wing pylons with a MW1
