Esc Button issue

I`m an Il2 player since the first demo comes out, think 6 years ago, and I use the Esc Button as a kind of pause button. But in WOV/WOE and WOI u know what hapen when you push it. Can`T there be an extra step like "Do you want to quit YES or No" this woul dbe great!

 

And another thing is I`m limited to only 5 emoticons and they are enabled???

Here's a little tip.

 

I set ESCAPE to quit game to desktop. Now when I'm playing, there are other keys near the ESCAPE key and I'll hit the wrong key.

 

So say you are drinking plastic bottle of Pepsi or Coke and save the screw cap. It fits and stays on top of the ESCAPE key and you can hit it all day long and nothing happens until you take off the new ESCAPE key cap.

Been doing this since WoV or so. That ESC key is just way too close to the F1 key when you are flailing around trying to get back to center whilst looking at something

else, though I reckon Lexx's idea has panache...

Oh no what about those situations when you know your bacons fried and what ever you do Ivan has vowed to nail your bum, the Esc key can save yer ego from admiting defeat. Sometimes especially for the beginner you got to punch out.
