Basher11 Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Funny that some of the stock aircrafts which has no reconnaisance pod device have the RECON role enabled in Mission Editor. Anyway, as far as a reconnaisance mission goes, what is ht ecommand for taking photos? And after mission completion, where and how do I collect the photos? 1 more question: when I started on the runway, the game engine said "Mission Completed..." How do I fix that ? Quote

You should check out YAP. It has some fantastic recce birds and missions as well as a clever way of simulating the cameras. You take screenshots for the photos and then check them out after the mission to see if you got what you wanted. Quote

There is no command for taking pictures. Is that mission a custom made mission? To piggy back on csevers YAP has some wicked cool recce missions. The RF-8G is awesome. Quote
Basher11 Posted April 1, 2008 Author Posted April 1, 2008 (edited) It is a custom made mission, out of the mission editor. Currently, I have no other plans but only making custom missions. So you help would be much appreciated. I have been trying very hard to look at some .INI files in pursuit of a control parameter which upon engagin the autopilot, my flight would go terrain-hugging at say 200ft or something like that. Still no luck I still believe there must be a parameter the name of which is unknown to me of course and it might not be there in any one of the .INI files that controls low level flying. What is YAP, please do tell me! Edited April 1, 2008 by Basher11 Quote
SJPhantom Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Combat recon or more to the point, Road Recce, was getting down to the trees and seeing what you could stir up, and once it got stirred up, dropping what you had on the target. No camera's needed. Quote
