It's great!

It fixed some annoying bugs: especially becoming POW when in friendly territory.

It has a check6 view which will be easy to mod for my preferences.

So it's a must.

I would rather have seen a fix to the multiplay issues instead. Oh yah, I know, they told us to stick that idea. But I'm still gonna ask anyway, and will continue to do so. :tumbleweed:

please read what people have posted on the issue of "real" speed in that link you wrote. the game doesn't need to be patched in that regard.

since i got SFP1, i have missed to take the engines on/off.

If only we had an an engine spool up and run down sound too...

Some guru may figure it out but it's not in my Thuktun...figure that out!

I think ground behaviour got fixed. Before the patch I had nearly no rudder control on takeoff (after the wheel becomes stiff) and had to apply full rudder - now it's possible to make small correction a bit easier. The plane would also get stuck in the ground the moment I steered off the runway on the taxi way. Full power was required to move as if the path was not counted as being paved.

Roll rates don't seem so fast. Especially with the older types like the Mystere.

The new shadow settings are great, now no FPS hit at all on medium for me. Cool rear view too.

Taxi was fixed? Good, I'm glad about that!

I'm loving that rear view and miss it like hell when going back to WOE/WOV/SFG.

There is an ini edit that gives you a check6 view that's as good as WOI's. It uses the shoulderview with camera repositioned and facing backwards with panning.

Do a search here or at Thirdwire. I think it's a must have.

Thanks for the heads up on that Craig, I'll check it out when I get home from work.

I have the shadows at max and I can still only see the shadow of the pilot, nothing more... Reckons I might re-install and repatch. Yup... reckons I might.
