gosquidgo 0 Posted April 22, 2008 I read Crimson Sky- The Air Battle for Korea at the local base library, very interesting. It dealt with many other types of aircraft besides Sabres and also had some figures contradicting the very high kill ratios that we claimed. A couple of out of print books by Robert Dorr and Warren Thompson: Korea : the air war, and Korea the air war (2) are good for starts. They're very pictoral, but give a good overview of all the "birds" in that war, not just sabres. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
censored 0 Posted April 30, 2008 The United States Air Force in Korea, by Robert Futrell is the most comprehensive work that I'm aware of - but not a light read (over 800 pages). If you're looking for something a little lighter - which touches on Korea but is not necessarily restricted to Korean war experiences - there's always Robert Dorr's Air Combat: An Oral History of Fighter Pilots.
