Those austrians now think its easy to beat us, after having that incredible lucky foul vs poland!! Well, the polish goal wasnt a goal, but they deserved it, cause i like the team... The game poland vs croatia will be very interesting too, cause i like the croats same as the polish team... Funny thing is, Italy is totally declassified!!! I only feel bad about HOW they did it, and it was 100% the referee's fault. My other half being german I of course hope that "ze germans" kick some austrian a$$ even if it's just revenge against the said referee (Paultz) who is an austrian... (thats the real question... im guessing maybe Italy...) I hope we beat Germany and meet the Turks once again in the Half-Finals, in spite of thinking the Croatia team plays excelent footbal, the turks play mostly with their hearts....and they beat the mighty Cz Rep. !!! kesegy Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 (edited) I hope we beat Germany and meet the Turks once again in the Half-Finals, in spite of thinking the Croatia team plays excelent footbal, the turks play mostly with their hearts....and they beat the mighty Cz Rep. !!! this is where you're wrong, friend. we beat poland with our second team, only 2 or 3 players from the first squad played last night. and against the turks we're coming on in full strength. and we may win or lose, but you can bet that every single cro player will give apsolutely everything to win. cardiac material is in abundance here :-) this kind of atmosphere and unity and the will to prove our worth wasn't present in the national selection even when we played world cup half-finals 1998. all players say the team never felt strong and proud. croatia meets portugal in the next stage, that's for sure.
