Flew a test campaign mission, log seems to be working fine for me, recorded my kills, then also my untimely death when I rammed a Zero after getting too close. . .

Not sure what to suggest :dntknw:

More flyable Japanese squadrons we can do, and will be included in the next campaign update. I have been sidetracked a bit by Malaysia terrain, which led out of working on an updated Philippines terrain to include Formosa. So I have a few things to juggle just now, but it will happen. . . eventually :wink:

has anyone ever thought of doing a modern battle where it is China who wants to rule asia and

other nations including the USA,Japan,Taiwan, and the UN are fighting them.

It would be cool.

the story does sound a little far fetch.

but its all fun.

I love to do WW2 too but a modern twist would make it very interesting

and also make it where both sides are playable.

Hi Jinji-chan,

You may want to try scrapper's "The Dragon" campaign for Gepard's Formosa terrain, as it features exactly the scenario you describe.

I did a new clean install only for addons required by campaign, most problems gone, logs works ok, not a single CTD so far... the only problem is with Val's loadouts -if I access loadout section before mission I have no stories possibility. On the left weapons menu I have few bombs to choose from (german Mehrzwerkbomben, russian FABs) but none can be attached to my hardpoints. If I click FLY without entering payload section I have 4 250 bombs. Using D3A1_loadout.ini included with package.

And latest Bunyap's weaponspack, no japanese bombs inside..?

There should be ALL kinds of Jap bombs in the pack. I know when Pasko first released the Val, he used Soviet FABs.

Thre should be a 50,100,250 and 500 kg bombs plus the Type 91 torp for the Kate and Jill (and Betty)

Here's my loadout fro the Val:

[Attack]

Loadout[01].WeaponType=JPBomb250

Loadout[01].Quantity=1

Loadout[01].WeaponType=JPBomb250

Loadout[01].Quantity=1

Loadout[02].WeaponType=JPBomb50

Loadout[02].Quantity=1

Loadout[03].WeaponType=JPBomb50

Loadout[03].Quantity=1

Loadout[04].WeaponType=JPBomb50

Loadout[04].Quantity=1

Loadout[05].WeaponType=JPBomb50

Loadout[05].Quantity=1

[Anti-Ship]

Loadout[01].WeaponType=JPBomb500

Loadout[01].Quantity=1

[FAC]

Loadout[02].WeaponType=JPBomb50

Loadout[02].Quantity=1

Loadout[03].WeaponType=JPBomb50

Loadout[03].Quantity=1

Loadout[04].WeaponType=JPBomb50

Loadout[04].Quantity=1

Loadout[05].WeaponType=JPBomb50

Loadout[05].Quantity=1

[Recon]

In the data ini, change the "AttachmentType=" to Japan

Thanks Wrench! It works, my Val had attachment type set to Japanese Empire, and slightly different loadout, now everything's ok. Perhaps outdated package.

btw, got my PM?
