check this out: One possible upshot: According to the Pew pollsters, "by a slight, but statistically significant margin -- 22% to 16% -- people say that recently they have a less rather than more favorable view of the putative Democratic nominee."

 

I dont know about your world...but never has 22 - 16% been slight in anything...if only my stock portfolio would grow by such "slight" means...I may be rich...

Why, quite simply they mean to inform you that there are people out there of indeterminate numbers who may or may not have had their opinion lowered of Obama by an amount that may or may not be significant.
