Two tsunami alerts have been issued after two earthquakes in the Pacific region.

 

The 7.6 magnitude quake in eastern Indonesia prompted Indonesia's Meteorology Agency to issue a tsunami alert.

 

Another tsunami warning has been issued after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake jolted Japan 's northern island of Hokkaido.

 

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre has sent a message to countries in the Pacific, telling them they are not in danger from the Indonesia quake.

Confirmed from Asia Pacific here. Tokyo, 20:00(GMT+8) and this morning in Indonesia.

 

 

 

Seems that prophecy works! Sep 13 Tsunami will wipe out this part of the world!!

This quake din't even make the news here, and CNN.com said yesterday it was lowered to a 6.something magnitude, not 7. I can't even find anything about it on CNN today.

Happily this doesn't seem as bad as first thought.
