This is a little tool to enable you to refuel your aircraft.

 

How to use it ?

 

1- BACKUP the DATA.ini file

2- Launch the exe and select the DATA.ini to patch

3- Check the tanker type to use with a/c (Boom or Drogue). (Boom = 3000lb/mins, Drogue= 1000lb/mins)

4- Apply the patch. That's it.

5- Use your Thrust Vector Key to add fuel

 

Know issues:

 

- The system is based on a "fake" engine. When refueling, you will have the AB sound (no extra thrust) activated on your plane.

- Only player a/c will be refueled

- You cannot apply the patch to any a/c using TV key...

- You can refuel at any time

 

As usual, use it at your onw risk. I'm not resonsible of any bad thing that could happened on your PC by using it ;-). This tool cannot be add to a commercial stuff without my premission.

Must be the control the TV? If you use an animation control slot? eh eh for the airplanes that have it,perhaps the opening refuel hatch or extraction of probe's control

A shame,,,.. basically leaves out all the harriers,,, anyway thanks for the patch. And I liek the nice unpainful method for installing an ini edit

Well... In fact if you want really to use it with Harriers you can. But then you are sentenced not to VTOL

Is here about a actually refueller aircraft model involved or ...just a trick to get again 100% reservoirs refueled ? I ask that because I'm not sure I understood how it actually woks.

In a nutshell, you get an extra engine with no thrust.

 

When enabling that engine, it does not use fuel, but ADDS it in a rapid rate, (negative fuel use) and kindly deposits it's

gathered fuel into you tanks.

 

Total hack? You bet.

 

Useful as a workaround for the inability to do so any other way? You betcha!

Anyone tried this in SF2 recently? I tried but no positive fuel flow, just the AB sound.

Is there any way to make this mod compatible in the SF2 series sims? Id love to have it as well, was a lot of fun and made things more realistic
