WDH Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 My plan is to use wpnsgt's F-16C Blk 50/52 for an accurate loadout.ini. for my F-16CJ Blk 50D/52D Wild Weasel idea but,ran into a little snag.Having very limited knowledge on to edit .ini's,still think I can pull it off with some advice.Wanting to add AAQ-13 & AAQ-14 but,there isn't enough hardpoints on fuselage and unfortunately don't have the program to model one.Also,need accurate description for either to use LANTRIN or SNIPER?In loadout already exsist to place ALQ-119 on centerline.My target years is 2001-200? Desert Storm era and Operation Iraqi Freedom.Hoping that there's some interest in this because,I think it would come of use and practicality.Chose this particular model for it has most of what's needed anyhow. Now the F-16DJ or DG is another animal of sorts.The only model I could find in similarities is the F-16B Blk 10 found here at CA.Knowing there is a -D model but,modeled with long spine and will not work.Maybe,KC-16 E/F Blk 32/52 would be better on the trade off and a little easier to change loadout. BTW,all these changes is planned with permission in mind!Need to skins for SCANG,Triple Nickle when stationed in Italy (AV tailcode),NMANG Desert Road Runners or Taco's (Already a skin for and needs an updated for DS era,I think?)and for others pertaining to the CJ/DG. KCT,Got this idea from viewing your F-15SG project.Keep plugin' at it and learned about Sniper pod from this.FastCargo,your expertise is always welcome too as well as anyone. F-16CJ/DJ Block 50D/52D "Wild Weasel" Recognised for its ability to carry the AGM-88 HARM and the AN/ASQ-213 HARM Targeting System (HTS) in the suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD) mission. This specialised version of the F-16 can also carry the ALQ-119 Electronic Jamming Pod for self-protection. It is the MF F-16A Blk 10 with data.ini and loadout.ini edits to make it a generic "F-16C" (not any specific block, just most of them combined...). The cockpit and model are still just the Blk 10 versions, but if you look in the data.ini and loadout.ini, you'll see the entries for the LANTIRN Pods on the chin stations, as well as the HTS pod for AGM-88's. I can't tell you how much I've learned about this sim by trying to create things I either don't know how to create or create something that someone else more qualified is already working on. If you want a CJ, then by all means take every available F-16 you can get your hands on and hack them together into some sort of Franken-Weasel. I've found it's a little more satisfying flying your own creation, even if it's a little imperfect. Quote

I didnt mean to give you the idea the person was right to send you the Pmail - however I would have to see the Pmail to see if it has been taken out of context or was just nasty. in any case you can mod whatever you like - it doesnt even have to stick to realism - and just dont listen to anybody who tells you otherwise.
