hi guys!

i try for some time to finish an entire new iai Lavi, single seater fighter.it is based on the 3d views of the twin seater prototypes .

the real problem is the moving surfaces....

i use the following subtree in the 3d studio max model:

Fuselage

Nose

...........

L_Canard

R_Canard

LeftWing

Gun01

LeftWing

LeftIntPylon

LeftElevon

LeftOuterWing

LeftSlat

LeftMiddlePylon

LeftExtPylon

LeftWingLight

.........................................

i saw the other planes with same structure, as j10, jas39,typhoon.i tried to fix an ini file , but the control surfaces do not fuction the way they should.are there surfaces that i must duplicateand make them invisible somehow?any help would be apreciated and credit

Oooh the Lavi cant wait to fly this beaut when it is done! Great work man I have been looking foward to a Lavi for some time

Aleks,

 

Did you Reset XForm on all the surfaces before you linked them?

 

Also, did you align the rotational axis on the surfaces before you linked them.

 

You must:

 

1) Reset Transform

2) Align rotational axis

3) Link in the proper order

 

If you don't do these steps in order, you will probably have issues.
