He will be missed greatly.

Was a shock to all who work here with me in Iraq - when I read this and announced his passing...

My Dad listened to him everyday... grew up with him on the radio, as am sure everyone else did.

Dammit. The last class act of the airwaves, replaced by either the vapid or the bloviating.

 

We will miss you, sir. I remember hearing you and thinking of home.

bummer, he was a regular part of many a lunch break as I sat in my car and listened to the radio,,,,

a true story teller.
