Wrench kevin stein I even set compatility to windows 95/98 and no worky.Yes,I have windows Xp and patched to Oct2008 for WOE.Even d/l'd 3 times and set compatability.
krfrge Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Pappy, If you have a previous copy of the weaponeditorm there should be a weaponeditor.ini config file. Copy that file into the new weapon editor and fire up the program. That has worked for me. BTW - You have some awesome work. KRFRGE

Guest a10boar Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Have the same issue after a full rebuild of PC. And getting no joy on this tried all the above Running XP Pro Patch 3 Happens on WOI WOE WOV and SFG all Oct 08 Patched. Pacman,I too had the same problem with a recent pc build on XP sp3.Here's what I had to do;Keep weapons editor in zip folder on desktop,right-click and open with 7zip and press exe. You'll see it finally works that way.Don't know way anything has changed? But,hopefully that works for you.
viperBAT32 Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 dont know if this helps, but i extract weps editor into objects folder for WO(x) and set compatability in there.works fine for me.look to see if any 3rd party anti-virus or other "safety" programs are blocking it......dont know this for sure, but, then again, i've never had this issue.
viperBAT32 Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 also, i have even noticed that each time i install a new add-on that has a weps folder in it, i have to reset compatibility to win 95(weps editor, that is).EVERY-time....but thats just my experience.
