Error when exiting QC

Recommended Posts

When I exit Quick Combat by choosing End Mission option I get an error in OFFManger:

Error Advancing Time(TimeAdvanced).

Is there any solution?

Thank you.

May need to delete that pilot and recreate a new one. If not send your order# and full details to

support

@overflandersfields.com

and we'll try to help.

Thanks Polovski for answering.

I've already deleted the pilot and installed it in another OS , but the problem persists sometimes.

Anyway it's not so important, I can live with this.

But I'll try to test further and then properly report.

Thanks

Could be the language of the OS, if you have a non English XP then see the FAQ

http://www.overfland...lds.com/FAQ.htm

So it seems. Even if I've all my OS are in English, the regional settings are obviously set to my country.

So I decided to change all the regional settings into English and never happened again.

Now I have to look which one is causing the error. I bet it's the decimal point.

Thanks Polowski. Great game and great support. :good:

Von Paulus,

I'm guessing you're right. I read here (somewhere) that using a comma as a decimal point causes problems, and this might be a common practice in Europe. Don't know if the search function problem is fixed on this forum yet, so it might take a bit of digging around. Try changing that first, see if it works. Good luck with your problem.

Yes it was the comma that was causing the error.

Thank you all.:good:

Hi

I had the same problem and changing from comma to point solved the problem! good.gif

I think it would be a good idea adding this information to the FAQ.

The solution is already in there but the "error advancing time" is not mentioned. wink2.gif

Indeed if I get time I'll mention it, but the information regarding changing the , and . on none English systems is clearly mentioned in known issues and the FAQ is rather huge :/.
