Von Paulus 8 Posted August 28, 2009 When I exit Quick Combat by choosing End Mission option I get an error in OFFManger: Error Advancing Time(TimeAdvanced). Is there any solution? Thank you.

+Polovski 460 Posted August 31, 2009 May need to delete that pilot and recreate a new one. If not send your order# and full details to support @overflandersfields.com and we'll try to help.
Von Paulus 8 Posted September 1, 2009 Thanks Polovski for answering. I've already deleted the pilot and installed it in another OS , but the problem persists sometimes. Anyway it's not so important, I can live with this. But I'll try to test further and then properly report. Thanks
+Polovski 460 Posted September 2, 2009 Could be the language of the OS, if you have a non English XP then see the FAQ http://www.overflandersfields.com/FAQ.htm
Von Paulus 8 Posted September 3, 2009 (edited) Could be the language of the OS, if you have a non English XP then see the FAQ http://www.overfland...lds.com/FAQ.htm So it seems. Even if I've all my OS are in English, the regional settings are obviously set to my country. So I decided to change all the regional settings into English and never happened again. Now I have to look which one is causing the error. I bet it's the decimal point. Thanks Polowski. Great game and great support. Check Six 2 Posted September 3, 2009 Von Paulus, I'm guessing you're right. I read here (somewhere) that using a comma as a decimal point causes problems, and this might be a common practice in Europe. Don't know if the search function problem is fixed on this forum yet, so it might take a bit of digging around. Try changing that first, see if it works. Good luck with your problem. Von Paulus 8 Posted September 5, 2009 I'm guessing you're right. I read here (somewhere) that using a comma as a decimal point causes problems, and this might be a common practice in Europe. Yes it was the comma that was causing the error. Thank you all.
vonOben 55 Posted June 5, 2010 Hi I had the same problem and changing from comma to point solved the problem! I think it would be a good idea adding this information to the FAQ. The solution is already in there but the "error advancing time" is not mentioned. Cheers vonOben
+Polovski 460 Posted June 13, 2010 Indeed if I get time I'll mention it, but the information regarding changing the , and . on none English systems is clearly mentioned in known issues and the FAQ is rather huge :/.
Parky 8 Posted June 13, 2010 So....what you're saying in essence, is size really does matter? Cheers, Parky
