Recommended Posts

This is stupid IMO. The Navy already has ship based AEW in the form if Ka-31s. More had been ordered recently. COnfusing

its not all that dumb. common sense and physics: the higher you are the farther you can see. the kamov may work but helos wont go as high as fixed wing can for as long or as far from the carrier. be interesting though hawkeyes co-ordinating migs vs paki vipers? or even droppin in for a little friendly visit on us super bugs both sides directed by hawkeyes? hmmmm

well, if you are going to get a real carrier, you should get a real AEW aircraft!

Especially if you want to keep that carrier against determined adversaries.

initially the navy was offered the E-2C ,but they opted for D.

the e-2d will be a crucial aspect for indian navy as all of the neighbouring countries are hostile.

with china acquiring a/c carriers the navy needs more power punch.

but modernisation of the force cant be done until indigenous weapons systems are not inducted.

if the plans are on track we will have two or more carriers by the time china will have one.

but the truth is we cant compete wuth china,a powerful ally like US will still be needed.

Sure you can compete with China. Don't you do their tech support like you do ours? Just tell them all the wrong stuff and they'll trash their networks.

"Just unplug your machine while it's booting for a full reset."

The Chinese gov't has an innate weakness in that they believe in their own superiority, any evidence to the contrary being dismissed or covered up. They'll never admit they were wrong, even if it means condemning their country to serious hardship. Exploit that!

well we are even weaker ,the politicians and babus(govt workers) are like parasites who are eating this country from within.

regarding reseach,DRDO makes weapons which are rejected before their trials.

everytime HAL rolls out a LCA prototype ,IAF changes its requirements.

i think most of the population is hedonistic, cattle class people.

when ISRO found water on the lunar surface ,people paid little attention to it.

but when richard gere kissed an indian actress, whole nation was talking.

everyone only thinks about oneself,no patriotism at all.

sure ,there are millions of honest, hardworking people in this country, but millions cant be compared to a billion. :boredom:

very smart choice.

the D has some awesome capabilities beyond what the C does, and way ahead of the antique flying club model that I flew.
