SF2V Air & Ground War Expansion Pack v2.0 Gold - Part 1

Recommended Posts

It's 2023 and despite VR ruling my life since 2016 I've reinstalled SF2m and all those mods - and XP Gold is the first! Thanks so much for years of combat flying pleasure!

Not sure if this was covered already, but the A-1 Skyraider's cockpit is too low in the plane. I can see thru the front hood scoop...this fixed it...

In all A-1*_COCKPIT.INI files...change position to *,*,1.15. This is the perfect spot for me...I can see just over the hood scoop, instead of through it.

[CockpitSeat001]
ModelName=a-4b_cockpit
Offset=0.0,-0.08,-0.03
Position=0.0,-0.26,1.15
ViewAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0

Why not just use the correct A-1 cockpit by Dels, and not the A-4 "stand in" unit???? Just thinking out loud

I fixed that shadow issue a few year back, when I re-issued the A Bronco's as a stand alone mod (new FM too). Didn't do anything with the D, as the model itself is so fucked up. Too many issue that can only be fixed with a new complete LOD
