Sokol Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Hi, Tu-114, civil long range passenger version of the Tu-95 "Bear". very impressive aircraft, long time the largest civil transport, 220 paxe (almost twice that of Boeing 707 or Dc-8). some examples converted to Tu-126 AWACS when the civil fleet changed to Il-62. prototype caused huge stirrup in New York / Idlewild 1959, bringing Soviet premier Chrushchev to the UN. nice to see sokol
