Big difference with Vista and 7 is the mod folder is separated from the main folder

big advantage, you may decide where the mods will go by editing the options.ini file

if you don't chnage anything, mods will go in c:\user\your name\thirdwire\strike fighters.....

You mean, the big difference between the first and second gen of TW sims. Under Windows XP, the mod folder is likewise located away from the main program folder (in my documents/thirdwire).
