Dhimar and Paran skinning tips needed.

I want to make a simple campaign on SF2. A bit modernized and no foreign powers! :D

 

Dhimar:

 

Dhimar will have the F-16A (Block 15). This is my problem. Roundels don't work using the US skins. How to make them work and how to know the right coordinates in the .ini. This is my first time doing this. Better yet, is there a Dhimari F-16 skin?

 

Paran:

Paran will have an assortment of stock Mig-21s and Mig-23s.

And their best fighter will be the Mig-29.

Is there a Parani skin for Mig-29? Or at least make the roundels work on the stock MF skin.

 

Any help will be much appreciated.

 

 

Oh one more thing, can mercenaries join the red side as well?

In the aircrafts data.ini, change the country to Dhimar. Then look in the decal.ini. Look in the list, find where any insignias or roundels are listed. Then change it to "insignia". That will get you started.

 

Same thing for the Parani side.

Yes it is a Parani skin, but the national roundels are painted on the texture. I'm pretty sure I uploaded a blank version of that skin for decalling.

But how do I know the coordinates to place the wingtip and tail INSIGNIA?

You'll have to get with maybe Sony Tuckson on that, I have no clue to be honest with you.

I guess I'll have a look around the downloads section and see which Mig-29 skin has some roundels configured. The Iranian Mig-29 skin looks nice too.
