Fieldtrail Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Hi to all you simulation fans! I recently purchased SF2: Vietnam. There are many US Navy aircraft to choose from here, but I cannot manage to start a Single Mission from a carrier. Do anyone know if this is possible. Perhaps I should try to generate a mod mission for this purpose?
+allenjb42 Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Unfortunately game generated single missions will not be carrier based. It's one of the biggest gripes. However, you can fly from carriers in campaigns and user created single missions. With TK working on SF2:Tomcat this situation may well change.
+Dave Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 No you can not. Only if you have a user made single mission. Other than that you have to be in a campaign.
hawkeye52 Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I was wondering this as well, it is extremely unfortunate as it is such a fun feature...oh wells
Murphy'S Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 No you can not. Only if you have a user made single mission. Other than that you have to be in a campaign. or load a campaign mission, save it with the new feature and edit it as you want.
+Spectre_USA Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 or load a campaign mission, save it with the new feature and edit it as you want. ^^ This. ^^ I am still digging the stuffings out of this save feature. The fact that they are text editable, and singles allow mixed aircraft flights, it is the coolest darned thing since sliced bread!
serverandenforcer Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Sliced bread is WAY overrated IMHO! Whipped butter?
