72vwbus Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 I've got bot WOE and WOV with the Oct 2008 updates installed and was wondering what's the install process if I choose to add the NATO Fighters add ons from Column5? Both WOE/WOV are currently merged on my system. Thanks Quote
+Wrench Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 You must mean SF2:V and SF2:E? 1st gen sims (SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI) are NOT mergable, per se, like SF2 series are. They are seperate games (although you CAN move things inbetween them, of course!) wrench kevin stein Quote
+Gr.Viper Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Weren't exactly WoE and WoV the mergeable ones in the 1stGen? With the wrong planes in the wrong places? Quote
jomni Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 (edited) He said OCT08 patch... this means it's the WOX seires. And WOV and WOE can be merged because the installer gives you the option right? Edited April 16, 2010 by jomni Quote
+Soulfreak Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 It´s WoX series. Had mine merged too, as i still flew gen 1! ;) Quote
+Dave Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 For the NATO FIghters pack, it was made for a stand alone install of WOE. Quote

+Gr.Viper Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Use a clean WoE install. IIRC, WoE + WoV merge was generaly avoided because back then the game had no means to sort planes by terrains, so in single missions the planes from Europe appeared in Nam and vice versa. Quote
