About the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter for SF2?

I have installed the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter for SF2.

Now, the B and C version works very well, but the A version is without sounds: dntknw.gif

 

 

1) There are no engine sounds in the external views of my F-35A, the F-35B and F-35C both have normal working engine/afterburner sounds in the external view, they all use the same engine sound files!!! this.gif

 

2) There is not the RWR.LST for A,B,C version, where should go this file?? (RWR.LST) blink.gif

I will look at it tonight but Im sure I had fixed all this stuff.

1.look in this section in the f-35A data ini - and check which sounds it uses:

 

 

[sound]

EngineSoundName=JetEngine

AfterburnerSoundName=JetBurner

DamagedEngineSoundName=

FlapsSoundName=Flaps

AirbrakesSoundName=Airbrakes

GearsSoundName=Gear

 

 

2the RWR.list goes in the jets folder - just copy one over from another jet.

 

For the name it needs to be for each jet - look in each jets avionics file for this section:

 

 

[RWR]

.......

LockSound=RWRLockSound.wav

FlashActivityOnLaunch=TRUE

ThreatLibraryFile=F-16A_Netz_RWR.lst <------this is the name your file needs to be.

 

This is descibed more in the converting planes to SF2 thread in the SF2 KB

Im looking at it right now. Remove that fuel dump line, renumber and it works. I will try to get that correct soon. Good catch.

Sorry usafmtl, but the cockpit of the F-35A does not open?? this.gif

 

Dont think it ever did. If it did, I never knew about it.
